Stoked to come away with a podium finish at the Burson Auto Parts Australian Wingless Sprint Racing Championship at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday night.

It was a tough weekend overall, we lacked speed early and put ourselves on the back foot after getting caught up in a wreck during Friday night’s Prelim Final. That meant digging deep on Saturday, going through the B Main and going all the way back to 28th on the opening lap before making a run through the field to finish 3rd. Had an awesome battle with Luke Weel Racing in the closing laps to lock in the podium.

Couldn’t be prouder of the team for the effort they put in all weekend to get the car where it needed to be. Chad, Merv, and Brock worked non-stop, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything they did.

Heat 1 - 12th ➡️ 5th
Heat 2 - 2nd ➡️ 2nd
Prelim A - 5th ➡️ 14th

Heat 3 - 1st ➡️ 3rd
B Main - 3rd ➡️ 2nd
A Main - 24th ➡️ 3rd

Our focus now shifts to the Des Nash Memorial this Wednesday night, where there’s a massive $10,550 on the line for the winner 💰

Socials have been quiet lately but been plenty happening behind the scenes including putting together another car after we continued to struggle with the new one.

Raced at the Perth Motorplex on Wednesday night for the Midweek Mayhem and after falling back to 16th on the initial start we managed to pick up the win 🏆

Double Podium at The Brook!

A strong weekend at Ellenbrook Speedway for the MPS Tree Services & Scardifield Smash Repairs King of The Brook 🏁

A consistent run on night one saw us finish 2nd in the prelim, putting us in a solid position for night two, where we ended up 4th in overall points.

Qualified for the dash on night two and secured P3, setting us up for the 30-lap feature. Dropped to 5th early then got up to 2nd before the race was declared on lap 16. A shame not to go the full distance, but congrats to Blake and Brandon on their podiums!

A week off before we head to Perth Motorplex next weekend for the Gary Walsh Cup.
