One thing I've learnt in motorsport is that people often remember the result sheet. They remember who won and who lost. What they don't always see is the work that goes on behind the scenes to make a race car consistently fast and reliable.

The Winternationals wasn't just about a 5.551-second Australian National ET Record. It was about a team of dedicated people who poured everything they had into making sure the OGL [Australia] / Royal Precision Lubricants Camaro performed at the highest level every single time it rolled into the staging lanes.

A huge thank you to Stu, Steve, Josh, Jack and Dave. These guys worked tirelessly all weekend checking, servicing, analysing data, inspecting components and preparing the car between rounds.

Their attention to detail meant we were able to make pass after pass at record-setting pace while keeping the car straight, predictable and mechanically sound.

Anyone can lean on a race car when things are going right. The real measure of a team is their ability to repeatedly run at the front, push the limits, set records and do it without tearing parts off the car every run. That's a credit to the professionalism, experience and dedication of every crew member.

It was also fantastic to have Jamie and Jen from OGL [Australia] with us at Willowbank.

Having them there to witness firsthand the effort that goes into campaigning a Top Doorslammer, and to share in a weekend that saw the Australian National ET Record lowered to 5.551 seconds @ 258.67mph, made the achievement even more special.

The Gold Christmas Tree wasn't coming home with us this weekend, but neither is the Australian National ET Record going home with anyone else.

Proud of this team. Proud of what we achieved. And excited for what's still to come for the remaining 2 rounds of the championship.

What a weekend at the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals!

Firstly, a huge thank you to our incredible sponsors who make this all possible – OGL [Australia], Royal Precision Lubricants, Welshpool Welding & Fabrication, and Pro Chassis and Fabrication.

Your support allows us to continuely chase our goals, while competing at the highest level of Australian drag racing.

To all the fans who packed the stands at Willowbank and followed our journey throughout the weekend, thank you. The support we receive, both at the track and online, is incredible and something our entire team is extremely grateful for.

This weekend was one for the history books, with the OGL [Australia] / Royal Precision Lubricants Camaro resetting the Australian National ET Record with an incredible 5.551-pass at 258.67mph in the finals, after resetting the National record in Q2.

To lay down a run like that is a credit to all our crew members who put in countless hours that go into making this car perform at its best.

While we were proud to make it all the way to the final, unfortunately we came up just short when it mattered most. Congratulations to Emilio Spinozzi and his entire team on getting the job done and taking the win.

We'll take the positives, learn from the weekend, and come back ready to fight again.
