What a hot week ☀️!

Western Australia’s extreme heat🔥 can cause hoses to crack, weaken or fail unexpectedly, leading to costly downtime and even bigger repairs.

Regular inspections, timely replacements and proper maintenance are key to keeping your machines running smoothly all summer ☺️

Round 1 at MotorMall Wanneroo Raceway
Qualifying was abit tough for both Adam and Michael
Michael qualifying P9
Adam qualifying P13

Race 1 - Both Adam and Michael had an awesome run with Michael finishing P5 and Adam moving all the way up to P6

Race 2 - Michael had some tough racing throughout the race with Michael bond and Clint Harvey and with Adam stalling it off the line he dropped back to 18th and had some work to do. Adam managed to fight back to P7.

Race 3 - Michael made some great early moves in the early stages of the race and managed to secure P3.
Adam was having some great battles with grant Johnson and managed to hold him off and ended the race finishing P5.

Overall was a great shakedown for both cars , and with Adam still learning the new car and sorting some braking issues they will be back even stronger for round 2 at Collie Motorplex.

Hydraulink Wangara — We Make It Happen

26/10/2025

That’s a wrap for the 2025 racing season and what a blast it was.

The last round at CARCO.com.au Raceway with the Saloon Car Racing WA boys

Qualifying - P2
Race 1 - P2
Race 2 - P2
Race 3 - P2

With qualifying being struck short with a red flag the officials were quick to retrieve a car out of the sand and ended up only having one lap to make it count. Adam ended the session P2 in class.

Race 1 - Adam had a good start which ended shortly due to a 5 car pile up. Unfortunately a few of the competitors cars had too much damage to continue on with the weekend, however a few other racers managed to fix their cars with a lot of race tape. Glad to say that everybody involved in the crash were okay. Adam finished P2 in class.

Race 2 - With Adam having a great battle with Reggie throughout the race swapping back and forth for P1, Adam struggled with overheating rear tyres towards the end of the race and had to settle for P2. Great driving Reggie 🤙 (Adam was also given a 5 second penalty for track limits).

Race 3 - A few minor changes to the car and Adam was back out for race 3. Adam tried to catch Reggie but with 3 of the Pro class cars in between them, he couldn’t get the pace needed out of the car. Adam ended up finishing P2 in class.

The 2025 season has been amazing as Adam was able to secure the National Championship at The bend Motorsport park and also took out the state championship for the second time running.

A massive
thank you to my sponsors and family for your support throughout the year.

2025 Nationals done and dusted!

Friday consumed of four practice sessions during the day with Adam and Michael trying to learn the track and get a feel for it, a few minor tweaks to the cars and they were ready for qualifying. With such a big field of saloon cars they were split into odd and even number qualifying sessions. With Adam heading out first, he got straight into it trying to get a good lap in before the rain came down. Adam finished the session P1 in class and P20 outright.
Michael was up next and with a quickly drying track, he also got straight into it. Whilst still learning the track, he put in some really good laps and finished the session in P11 out of 39 cars.

Race 1 under way and Michael was quick to start picking a few positions off the line with some great driving. With only 3 racing laps and a safety car coming out, Adam also made a few positions in the early stages. Michael finished the race in P8 and Adam finishing the race P1 in class but then was called to Race Control and was given a 15 second time penalty for “passing under safety car” which was a timing error on their side. The penalty pushed Adam down to P32 for Race 2.

Race 2 Adam was quick to get back to the other cars in class moving up to P19 in the first lap! Michael on the other hand got into P7 but then that’s when his weekend unfortunately ended. Michael was turned around mid corner by another car and then another competitor having no where to go crashing into the side of Michael. Thankfully both involved walked away with just bruising.
With majority of the race under safety car Adam was sitting 2 cars behind Reggie Ralph. With 2 laps to go the safety car was in and Adam made those 2 laps count with getting past Reggie on the first lap. The last lap Adam broke the lap record but then that was taken away quickly by Reggie, beating it by 2 tenths of a second as Adam gave him a nice toe down the front straight.

Race 3 Adam started from P18 outright and held onto P1 in class the entire race with gaining 2 spots before the flag, he finished P16 outright.

Race 4 Adam’s bad luck returned with winning the race but then receiving a 5 second time penalty for a jump start, we finished under a safety car which pushed Adam from P14 to P20 outright.

The final race Adam started from P19 and his closest competitor in P14. With the final race underway Adam let some of the faster pro cars past on lap 1, as it was a long race. Adam only 1-2 seconds behind Reggie and about 5 other pro cars in a big pack, Adam was being patient and waiting. Turn 18, Reggie was dive-bombed from all angles and was unfortunately turned around giving Adam P1. Adam then pushed the mirror up and carried on with his own race. With consistent half a second lap times quicker than P2, he drove superb all the way to the end putting an 11 second margin to P2.

A big thanks to Adam and Michael’s parents for getting the cars over to Adelaide for them and for all their support throughout the year.
A big thanks to Andrew Martin and Jim for driving the truck over for the WA Boys, you guys are legends!

Also a massive thankyou to their partners, Philippa and Louise, for watching their kids and supporting us over the weekend and every other race event.

And now to thank their sponsors, as this wouldn’t be possible without them.
