We are officially sold out! There will be no registrations on the day. Thank you to everyone who registered, you can feel good knowing your entry fee is going towards keeping your beaches safe! Many Swanny volunteers have been busy setting up, briefing, food prepping, and readying the watercraft all day - our club can’t wait to welcome everyone for what’s going to be a spectacular day!

🏊 2km swim starts at Cottesloe Beach (Indiana Tearooms) and finishes at Swanbourne Beach (Swanbourne Patrol Tower)
⏱️ Swimmers are split into waves based on your nominated swim time - you’ll find out your wave when you register on the day, so please arrive on time for check-in
🎒 Gear transport provided - free trailers will move your bag from the start line to the finish (7:00–8:00am, Indiana Tearooms/Cottesloe SLSC Boatshed → Swanbourne Nedlands SLSC)
⚠️ No valuables in bags please. Make sure your bag is clearly labelled or distinctive
📍 All events follow the coast. Swimmers, SUP and race mal start in the water; the run is land-based
🚩 Yellow buoys + plenty of lifesavers, IRBs and boards will keep you on course - no accidental Rottnest detours 😉

The Swanny Ocean Classic has been a staple since 1986! 2km from Cott Beach to Swanbourne. Join ~1,000 participants for the thrill of the open water swim (do it with others at your speed, with different entry wave options), or if you’re not a swimmer you can do the beach run, SUP, or racing mal paddle. It’s an amazing atmosphere and watermelon, plus breakkie BBQ and coffee available at the finish line!

Join hundreds of people swimming from Cott to Swanny this Saturday in our 2km ocean adventure. Fun, fitness, friends! A fantastic way to enjoy our beautiful coastline this summer and get fit at the same time. We welcome all levels and you’ll be swimming in stages - grouped with others at a similar pace! 🔗 in bio to register.

Make sure you stop by their station, where they’ll be:
- Pouring electrolyte-rich supplements for you to rehydrate
- Handing out refreshing RTDs
- Giving away free snacks and samples to help fuel recovery

🏅Swanny Ocean Classic Winners & Prizes🏅

Congratulations to Mike Ledger and Kristy Brackstone for taking out the 2025 Swanny Ocean Classic mens and women’s swim categories! Mike (now a 3 time winner) followed very closely across the line by Madoc Lanfear-Appleby and Richard Kerr, with Kristy trailed by Alyssa Peake (U/18 F winner) and Hikaru Iwata. Callum Brown-Neaves was the first U/18 M across the line.

Congratulations also to run winners Chris Hazell & Ninette Lorenzen, SUP winners John Fox & Carol Parker, mal winners Stirling Stilwell & Emily Measey, and all age group category winners
