Come on out to Ellenbrook Speedway tomorrow for Mothers Day where our car owner Glen Mears straps into the #19 for a skid!
This is one of the best parts of the Junior Formula 500 program, last weekend the car was raced as a junior, simply change seats and remove the restrictor plate and its ready to run in senior competition.

A few weeks of down time is over, its time to hit the high banks at Perth Motorplex for the final Fast Series event for the season. If you can't make it there, catch the action on Clay-Per-View.

DOWN TO A POINT!
Tonight will see the final show of season 2024/25 for the Junior Formula 500’s and with the Perth Motorplex Track Championship margin down to just one point, it is going to be a thrilling night of action.
Coming into the show it is Max Lang (Max Lang Racing) who leads the charge, having won the last four feature races in a row at the venue and having finished on the podium at seven of the eight shows so far this season.
Just behind him is Todd Pages (Pages Motorsport), also having claimed seven podium finishes this season including one feature win at the venue.
With a total of 210 points on the line, every race is going to make a difference for the top two, and if all goes to plan for both drivers, the championship should come down to the final race.
Of course, mathematically speaking, Raff Frisina (RF Motorsport) is still in the hunt for the series win, just thirty points behind Pages (31 behind Lang). As we know in Speedway anything can happen at anytime, so if the top two have a tough night, Raff is right back in the mix of things, especially considering the first two feature races of the season went to Raff!
In a similar boat is Leah Heeps (Leah Heeps Motorsport), though a little further out of reach in fourth place overall. However, she too has had some podium finishes this season and with a solid performance could well be elevated up the rankings.
Lauren Hedington (Lauren Hedington Motorsport) is fifth overall, having claimed five top five finishes so far this season at the Motorplex. Cutting plenty of laps at practice last Wednesday will certainly do no harm and she will be hopeful of breaking through onto the elusive Motorplex podium, if not onto the top step!
Deegan Wood (Woodys Racing) has only done three shows at the Motorplex previously, but he has already finished on the podium twice. Though out of the running for the overall Track Championship, Wood has impressed many with his early speed and style and could well surprise many in what will be his fourth Motorplex meeting!
Mason Whitehead (Whitehead Racing) has a busy night ahead, doing double duty as he races both his Junior Formula 500 and Junior Sedan. At his last Motorplex show he was able to finish in second place so he too will be hoping to finish the season on a high.
The final nominee in tonight’s eight car field is Tyler Pigdon (TD Racing), contesting just his second show in Junior Formula 500’s. He came home fifth overall on debut at the end of March and after taking the opportunity to cut plenty of practice laps in previous weeks, could well be another contender come feature race time.
Every race will mean something tonight and these eight fierce competitors will certainly hold nothing back as they look to take out the final feature of the season!

When the opportunity was presented, this was one Lauren could not resist. Rob Golding made his Golding Motorsport speedcar available to experience what a speedcar is like to drive. It was a truly remarkable experience which is never to be forgotten.
We can't thank Rob and his team enough for making this opportunity available.
Thank you also to Peter Roebuck for capturing the experience.

It was a great night Saturday night at Kalgoorlie International Speedway, with Lauren finishing the feature race in 2nd place. It was Lauren's last West Coast Series event as a junior and certainly a rewarding one. The close racing and respect shown between the Junior Formula 500's WA drivers is to be commended. Thank you to Max Lang , Todd Pages, Raff Frisina, Leah Heeps Motorsport , Mason Whitehead, Deegan Woods and Braxton Watts for great competition this series and Thanks to Roadline Civil Contractors for being series sponsor.
We can't thank Glen Mears enough for the pleasure of racing his car this season, with a special thank you to Bree Mears for her endless assistance.
Our team partners mean so much to us, your support is how we can compete, thank you.

Anyone’s Game!
This weekend marks the last time this season the Junior Formula 500’s will hit the road as they head to the Kalgoorlie International Speedway for Round 7 of the Roadline Civil Contractors Junior West Coast Series, proudly presented by Michael Holmes Racing.
The top seven in series points have all nominated for the show, headed by series points leader Todd Pages (Pages Motorsport), but judging by the evenness of the last few shows, any one of the seven could race away with the feature win.
Pages, who has claimed four of the six feature races so far, has a fifty-one point lead in the series so will be confident of finishing on top, but with 120 points on the line for anyone who wins all three heats and the feature, it is still anyone’s game, and as we know in Speedway, anything can happen!
Second place coming into the show is Max Lang (Max Lang Racing), and having been on a hot streak recently, he will be giving himself a big chance of coming out on top once again.
Although he has had a tough few meetings Raff Frisina (RF Motorsport) still holds down third overall and will hope to finish the Junior West Coast Series on a high while Lauren Hedington (Lauren Hedington Motorsport) has continued to creep closer and closer in the series, now twenty-six points behind Frisina in fourth and could well sneak past for the final step on the podium.
Leah Heeps (Leah Heeps Motorsport) is also in the same position, just one point behind Hedington, meaning the battle for third is certainly going to be hotly contested, though mathematically speaking any one of the top five could claim the series win, so who knows what combination of the top five we will have come the end of the feature on Saturday!
Deegan Wood (Woodys Racing) has only contested two of the West Coast shows this season so isn’t in the overall points battle, but with a couple of podiums to his name already, this rookie could well push the front runners for another podium, if not his first ever win!
Local hope Mason Whitehead (Whitehead Racing) rounds out the field and will relish the chance to race at his home track. Being the only driver in the field with his Ace Card up his sleeve, he should be confident that he will get some season best results.
A huge thanks to Roadline Civil Contractors and Michael Holmes Racing for making this round possible, and we cant wait to see what happens this Saturday night!
