With the Season for the vast majority of teams at Mindarie Football Club about to start this weekend we just wanted to say a huge thank you to the committee members at the club who have been working tirelessly to get us to this point.

Many may be unaware but the members of the committee have been working away ever since the end of last season, there’s no such thing as a break between seasons for this lot!

Countless meetings, emails, phone calls,
Messages and time spent down at each one of our grounds, Time spent driving around collecting bits and pieces, doing odd jobs here and there.
10’s if not 100’s of hours have been put in by each committee member over the last 7 months.

Without the wonderful support from these volunteers we wouldn’t be in the position of getting the season up and running.

Now don’t get us wrong, we’ve had plenty of hiccups along the way and a few mistakes here and there! Many late nights we’ve all had wandering how we will manage this, but we can happily say that we are ready and excited to get this season started!

Can you please join us in thanking the below people for their wonderful efforts 💙⚽️

President - Lee Hughes
Vice President - Michael Evans
Club Secretary- Michelle Schofield
Club treasurer - Michael Brice
Grounds and Equipment - Gareth Grant
Age Group co ordinators - Josh Whitmore, Rick Foxcroft, Mark Fallan, Yunis Lombard, Ollie Dale, Michael Evans

We’re proud to share that our President, Lee Hughes, was invited to speak at the Football West Club Development Conference on 11 April.

Lee’s contribution highlighted the work being done at Mindarie and the importance of strong community connections, coach development, and creating the right environment for players of all levels to thrive.

A great opportunity to represent our club and share ideas with others across the WA football community

From Clusters to State ⚽️💙

We’re proud to see two former Mindarie FC juniors, Thomas Deakin and Luke Self, selected to represent Western Australia at state level 👏

Both started their football journey right here in our clusters program, coached by Shane Smith and Lee Deakin — and it’s great to look back at this team photo from around 9 years ago.

While they’ve both moved on to other clubs, this is exactly what junior football is about — giving players a start, building their love for the game, and seeing where it can take them.

A great reminder for our current players… you never know where it might lead.

Well done boys — the club’s proud of you 💙
