✨PART ONE ✨

How do we nurture our desires and go after our dreams when all we’ve ever known were the moral constructs our society has created?

From a young age we learn it’s important to get a good education so that you can get into a good University, so that you can get a qualification and get a job high paying job, in order to have a family and a house with a white picket fence so that one day when you’re old and you’ve saved enough money you can finally retire and start living your dreams? 🤯🤷🏼‍♀️

I know that’s not the story for everyone but for many of us we get swept up in these ideals without questioning things…until things don’t work out the way we “thought” they would and no matter how hard we push we keep ending up at the same crossroad 🤷🏼‍♀️

I learnt this lesson in my mid twenties. I’d just graduated as a primary school teacher and was looking for a full time job. Only to find out that there were a very very limited number of jobs and A LOT of uni graduates all vying for the same jobs.

I spent about a year looking for work on and off while still working my part time job and it just wasn’t happening. I tried and tried but did I really try hard enough? I used to be so conflicted with what I thought I wanted and then I fell into a whole new world of coaching and personal development that.

I had to take a lot of time to reflect on what I truly wanted and make peace with the painful realisation that I’d been sucked into society’s expectations of what I thought my life “should” look like. I realised that teaching was my calling but maybe I needed to think outside the box and apply my knowledge and skills in a different way.

I decided to stop applying for teaching jobs and when people would ask me if I still wanted to be a teacher I would tell them yes, but traditional classroom teaching is not for me.

Suddenly my whole world opened up ✨💜

To be continued…

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” - Rumi

Some of my biggest life lessons have come from my relationships but most profoundly that with this guy.

10 years of knowing you and I still learn more and more each day from you how to open when I want to close, how to love when you make a mess all over the house 🙈 how to be patient when you feel triggered and how to embrace spontaneity when I want to plan every single thing in the day 😅💜

Love is about opening yourself up more each day to yourself, to your friends and family and to your partner for that’s when you truly uncover the magic of life ✨

Second cold in two weeks, no covid yet and it’s only just the beginning of winter 😱🤯

I’ve seen a lot of articles popping up in recent days about the prevalence of colds and flus this Winter season, not just covid. Something I found interesting was that with international travel now open we’re seeing more viruses in our communities again. Something that during the last two years of covid and lockdowns we actually didn’t have much circling.

I’m always fascinated in learning different ideas and concepts about health and one in particular of terrain theory which is all about how our internal environment has a lot to do with how we navigate bugs and that prevention of illness is making sure our internal environment is well balanced so that it can take care of the many bugs that enter our body.

While I haven’t felt like there’s been a big change recently in my life that would affect my immune system I do think I haven’t been getting the quality sleep I usually do and exercise has fallen off the list of priorities.

I’m not good at sitting still when I’m sick so self care is something I have to really work on when I’m getting run down.

Here is some of the self care I’ve taken to heal and help my body recover 💜✨

1. Infrared sauna - great for detoxification, better sleep, improved circulation, immune system boost ✨

2. Cold pressed juice - this one is high in vitamin c for immune support, metabolism and digestive system ✨

3. Home made immunity shot - I used lemon, apple cider vinegar, fresh grated ginger, raw honey, liquid vitamin c and cayenne powder ✨

4. The aftermath of said immunity shot 😂

5. Lots of rest, herbal teas, chai and binging Ozark 🙊

I’d love to know what self care do you do to help your body heal and recover from sickness?

I’m a big believer that if we want to create positive change in our lives we need to sit still long enough to listen to ourselves so that we can tap into our needs and desires. It also means that we need to the courage to ask ourselves ‘what do I really truly desire in my life?’.

When I started my healing journey I knew I wasn’t happy, I knew I didn’t want to live the life that I was living and I needed to realise that I had created my reality.

But I didn’t know where to start.

The anxiety, panic attacks and overwhelm were debilitating. They would happen anywhere and anytime and it became a vicious cycle of trying to anticipate when the next panic attack would strike.

I can’t say there was a definitive moment where I made the decision that things had to change, but rather the accumulation of intense emotion that would engulf me 24/7 left me no choice but to make a change.

I started reading personal development books, attended workshops, listened to podcasts at every opportunity - while driving, having baths and at night before bed.

Something inside me knew that if I wanted to change my reality I had to learn and immerse myself in the wisdom of others who had walked the path before me. I knew that learning new perspectives would open up a portal of new thoughts, perceptions and feelings that I could integrate in my life.

If you’re feeling like you don’t know where to start to make changes in your life start by asking yourself powerful questions. Journal, make time for contemplation and reflection. Sit with yourself so that you have the space to listen to your inner most desires ✨

3 years off personal development, to live in the present moment and deeply feel into and integrate a very big couple of years. Im not the person I was last year or even yesterday. The spark for guiding and teaching is back and with that I’m so happy to be working on my new online home which is going to be filled with resources for you 🙏🏻💜✨ I’m a big believer in walking the talk and I could never share or teach something I hadn’t integrated myself. So when the doors to my new online home open you’ll know it’s all work that I’ve processed, integrated and embody myself 🥰 for now if you’d like to be the first to know how you can work with me later in the year you can head to the link in my bio and register your interest. Much love xx ✨💜

For us to grow and evolve and create the life that we dream about we must first learn the lesson that everything in life either takes us further away from what we desire or brings us closer to them 💫

Having a positive outlook on our experiences and using these with intention to guide us closer to our dreams is what is going to move the needle.

We are powerful beings with the ability to attract all that we desire, so why not believe that everything is rigged in your favour? 🔥✨

Just over 12 months ago Mitch my partner and I decided it was time to commit to setting some fitness goals. I’ve never had a truly consistent fitness regime. Growing up I played tennis, netball and also did rowing for a couple of years. I loved team sports and the thought of doing workouts at the gym made me 🤮😝

Having also struggled with chronic and adrenal fatigue for years not only did I find it difficult to maintain any consistent form of exercise but also I had this fear that it was somehow going to make me feel worse.

Last year when we made the commitment I knew I was ready. I’d been seeing my chiro consistently for over 2 years and she kept saying it was time to add exercise into my life 🙈

I’ll share more on my fitness and weight loss journey soon but for now here is me, running at 6am watching a magical sunrise. It was also a milestone for me doing 3km without stopping 🥳 such a big achievement for me as ive never been a runner and could only ever run for 2 min tops! 😱

Hiiiii🙋🏼‍♀️wow it feels so good to be back! 🙈 firstly time flys!!! How has it been 3 years since I posted an actual pic?! 😱 so much to catch up on and I have to say life feels completely different and wonderful and exciting than it did 3 years ago.

Some pretty major life stuff happened and I feel like I was definitely at a cross roads when I disappeared from socials.

There’s been a lot of processing, personal growth and integration for me emotionally, spiritually and physically. I’ve been challenged in both good and less favourable ways🙈 But safe to say I feel like I’ve come out the other side ready to teach, be of service and as always share what I journey through each step of the way again.

I think that’s all I want to say for now but thank you for holding space for me while I’ve been gone I’m so happy to be back 🥰🙏🏻💜💫
