I can't wait for this one on Halloween of all days.

We have made some slight improvements to our second event with some board stops, a screen to show court assignments and a little tweak on the scoring software.

We are going to remain in the hire space upstairs at Carnaby's, so come on down for some good fun with good people.

Bags are not required. We have enough to go around.

The bar will be open all night, but food service will stop at around 8, so grab something early if need be.

Off the success of Round 1,

We are so back...

The schedule has been updated on Scoreholio and we are set to go.

Format will remain switcholio into a bracket elimination, with a double chance this time, as we have extended our space hire based on the information provided by Round 1.

This will be an exciting run into the end of the year.

Who will take home the Christmas Major?

Well, thats a wrap on the opening night and just the beginning of what we hope will become a staple fixture in the calender of Perth Co****le.
Carnaby's staff and the event team truly made us feel welcome and have an amazing space.

There is absolutely no way I could have got this off the ground without the support of this community.
From players who came early and helped setup, to the advice I have been given at other events and on Friday nights with friends.

Congratulations to Peter and Peter on becoming our first champions. It was from what I saw, a very close game that came down to the wire.
But 2 points was enough to get it done and break a 19-19 stalemate.

On the podium as always, but in 2nd this time, was Travis with our Airmail Showdown Champion Sivva.

The Airmail Showdown was well contested, but 2 out of 4 bags went uncontested and the purse went straight to Sivvas back pocket.

We currently have $10 in the pool for the 4 baggers 4 charity with 10 4 baggers being hit on the night.
Sivva and Travis definitely got the message on that one, going back to back in our bracket elimination.

We are away on a much needed holiday next month so we are hoping to kick off again in October.
We will take this time to setup and add in a couple of improvements to help run the night a little more smoothly.

Bit of a long one here folks, but this is all the information for registration and kicking off the night, plus some general stuff for the event.

Event location.

We will be in the hire space upstairs.
When you come through the carpark, Carnaby's and the bowling greens will be off to the left, the space is up the stairs towards the East Freo Oval seating.
Turn right at the top of the stairs and we will be there to check you in.

Timing of the Event.

We have the space hired for a pre determined period of time, so will hopefully be kicking off the round robin at bang on 5.30pm.
We will be there from 4.45ish and will be taking registration and check in from 5pm, so please try to make registration before 5.30.
Payment can be made at the desk through transfer or cash.

DON'T FORGET THE $5 FOR THE WINNER TAKE ALL AIRMAIL SHOWDOWN

Equipment/Scoring

No bags, no worries.
I will have some bags on the desk and as the format is doubles, most of the players will have bags for your team.

All scoring will be done on players' phones.
We only need 1 phone scoring per lane and there will be a table and phone holder at the end of each lane.
If you need help with the scoring or if any issues pop up, please let us know and we can help out.

The Inaugural Fremantle Co****le League Night.

All players are encouraged to pre-register and send the $20 entry fee via e-transfer. Registration and payment or cash on the night is also accepted.
Bank Details on the Scoreholio tournament page.

Remember to bring $5 cash for the winner take all airmail showdown

Layout/plan for the night.

Switcholio Doubles.

We will open the night with 4 rounds of Switcholio Doubles, where players will randomly be assigned into a doubles team each time they step up to the court.
The scoring will done on the phone of 1 of the 4 court members. A tutorial will be provided on the night and questions are encouraged.
The scoring will then generate a PPR (points per round) to rank players for the later bracket.

Airmail Showdown.

Once the round robin has finished, we will gather round to watch all who have put in $5 for the winner take all airmail showdown.
4 bags each, most airmails takes the pot.
In the event of a tie, players will have the option for a playoff or to split the pot.
If one player decides to split the pot, no playoff will commence.

Bracket Elimination.

Players will be ranked on their PPR and enter the bracket elimination.
Depending on numbers and time, this will either be a double or single elimination and be either doubles or singles.
Who will be the champion of our first event?

Throughout the night we would like players to record the number of 4 baggers each game and let us know once that game has finished.
We will be donating $1 per 4 bagger to charity.
This charity is decided by the winner of each major. (December)
These majors will happen every 3 months and have a running theme.

For now, it's carpentry season.
Stay tuned for the 8 boards that are about to be slung together.

It is slightly more official than the last couple of months.
We are just waiting on final confirmation from the venue, but maybe use a pencil to section off August 1st, which is a Friday evening.

We are currently working on creating an event at a location with bar/food service, but details will follow soon.

This event will be the first of a monthly league for players old and new alike.
