“My hips don’t lieee” 🎶🤣

A humbling experience indeed. There we were thinking we’d be getting sick content of our rows 😎

On the bright side, we did have some laughs watching this back 😂

Chief to the rescue! 💪🏼🌊

We’re so excited to have Chief Nutrition on board, helping keep us fuelled and making sure we’re getting the calories and protein we need for this challenge.

With so much rowing ahead of us, having easy, delicious meals ready to go is going to make a huge difference!

Thank you, Chief Nutrition for supporting the Atlantic Waterbirds and keeping us fuelled for the adventure ahead. We can’t wait to tuck in! 🩵

The best feeling 🌊

We were very happy to be back, reunited with our boat and back on the oars!

It had been a little while, so it felt so good to get back out on the water before we head to La Gomera in December.

Only 3,000 miles across the Atlantic to go 😂

Happy birthday, We**ie! 🥳💛

We’re so lucky to have you on our team and as captain of our little slug! It’s been a pretty wild three years of campaigning, and you’ve played such a huge part in everything we’ve achieved so far.

With a decade behind us and a few more ahead, we reckon this next adventure will be one we’ll talk about for the rest of our lives! 🌊 🚣‍♀️

Thank you for being you and for bringing your funny witty ways to everything you do. We love you and wish you the happiest of birthdays!

Here’s to celebrating you today and making plenty more memories together. 💙💛🍻

Love Charlie, Fifi and Karla ###

If you’re a business and would like to be part of the Atlantic Waterbirds journey, we’d love to hear from you. With our departure for La Gomera getting closer, now is the perfect time to come on board and be part of something pretty special.

We’d be incredibly proud to have you with us.

Our sponsor 🌊

We love having so much support from our amazing sponsors, and there’s nothing better than actually getting to visit the IMS team who have supported us so much from the very beginning.

They’ve been there through every step of the preparation for this amazing challenge, and as we get closer to the start line, we really want to recognise just how much they’ve helped us along the way 🩵

We’re so grateful to have them behind us as we take on 3,000 miles across the Atlantic!

Would you row? 🌊

There’s always so much that could happen when we’re out there, but we’re also trusting in the fact that we’ve got each other’s backs.

The sea is pretty unknown, and we have no idea what it’s going to throw at us, but we’re still up for this amazing challenge.

Only 92 days until we leave for the unknown!

4,000 calories a day, and we want every one of them to count.

When you’re rowing across the Atlantic for around six weeks, two hours on, two hours off, 24 hours a day, fuelling our bodies properly isn’t optional. It’s a huge part of getting us to the finish line.

We’ll each need to consume around 4,000 calories every day to keep up with the energy demands of the row. But it’s not just about getting enough calories in.

We need food that’s nutrient dense, packed with protein and easy to eat between shifts, helping us fuel thousands of strokes, support our muscles and recover before getting back on the oars.

That’s where our Aussie legends Chief Nutrition come in 🩵

We’re so excited to have Chief on board as one of our Australian sponsors, helping us stock our snack packs with their collagen protein bars.

They’re easy to grab, packed with protein and perfect for those moments when we need a quick hit of fuel between shifts. Because trying to prepare a proper meal in the middle of the Atlantic isn’t exactly convenient! 😂

Thank you, Chief, for helping fuel the Atlantic Waterbirds all the way from La Gomera in Spain to Antigua in the Caribbean.

One bar, one shift and a few thousand strokes at a time 🌊

Happy birthday to our Charlie! 🩵

Today is all about one of the people who has been at the heart of the Atlantic Waterbirds from the very beginning.

Charlie has been the driving force and backbone behind so much of this campaign.

From the planning and organising to keeping everything moving, she has put so much time, energy and heart into making this journey happen.

She’s always there for the team, always willing to get stuck in and somehow manages to keep everything moving, even when there’s a lot going on behind the scenes.

We honestly wouldn’t be where we are today without her, and we’re so incredibly grateful to have her by our side for this adventure.

So today, we’re celebrating you, Charlie! We hope you have the best birthday and know just how appreciated you are.

Here’s to everything that’s still to come.

Happy birthday! 🎂🌊

Meet the Atlantic Waterbirds 🌊

You all know we’re rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic, but we wanted to take a moment to introduce the four people behind the journey and share a little more about who we are.

We’ve been brought together by our love of the ocean, adventure and exploring new places, but it’s our friendship that makes us such a strong team.

We know each other, we trust each other and we know how to support one another, which makes taking on something this big together feel even more special.

We’re so excited to share this journey with you and hopefully give you a little insight into the four friends behind the Atlantic Waterbirds 🩵
