A cracking day at the Port Macquarie 10s rugby competition. Congratulations on a successful tournament.

The boys came up against some top quality competition early on, going down to tournament winners Naitasiri Highlanders and Tamworth Fiji.

Though, it wasn't long before the combinations came together and the flair of the Blak Cockatoos was on show, defeating the Manning River Rats and PMQ Pirates Barbarians in a quality display of rugby union.

Notable mentions to Damian Osbourne and Tuveia Leon who were the difference on the day.

Thank you to all those that supported and our sponsors for making this day possible.

An incredible debut for the Blak Cockatoos this weekend, with a solid performance at the Team Spirit Crescent Head 7's taking out the plate final and securing $500 in prize money.

Playing together for the first time, the team built as the day went on. Each game clicking a little bit more, combinations coming together, trust building, and finishing stronger than they started.

Special shout out to young guns, Corey Bird, Maddox Bird and Braith Wilson who were impressive on the field throughout the day.

The boys have represented our community extremely well and should be incredibly proud of their achievements.

Appreciate everyone who backed us. On to the next one..
