Another Wanderers session on Tuesday this week up at Nambour Cricket Club where I visited the Nambour Showgrounds complex once more.

A fantastic group of youngsters came along for a couple of hours to practice their skills.

Such a super club and I’ve been lucky to have been a part of the mighty Cutters family over the decades !

Great to catch up again with Grant Ledger - what phenomenal contributors the Ledger family are to Sunshine Coast cricket.

Have a great summer guys. 😎

Nathan Walters of Springsure receiving his prize from Bruce Ole. Nathan's Mum Suzi has a habit of buying raffle tickets in Nathan's name to bring her luck. Well done Nathan.

Thanks again to Brett Neill from Seiko Australia for donating a wonderful prize to help us raise money to continue coaching young cricketers in regional areas.

Wanderers thank Brett Neill from Seiko Australia for donating the magnificent watch which was the main prize in our tour raffle - a beautiful 200 m diving watch.

We had 3 prizes drawn at each country stop which included autographed Brisbane Heat bats & caps donated by Queensland Cricket , Broncos jerseys donated by Wanderer Julian Sinardi and a signed & framed North Qld Cowboys jersey donated by Damien McKenzie which was the first item won in Springsure.

We thank everyone who supported us by purchasing tickets prior to, and across the tour, which allowed us to make some extra dollars towards our overall trip costs.

We hope all 18 prizewinners enjoy your items

Great to have Coastal Marlins ( through Andrew Pearce ) Coomera Hope Island Cricket Club ( through Paul Kleinschmidt ) & Valley District Cricket Club kindly supply us with heaps of their clubs clothing to hand out to the country kids during our coaching sessions on tour.

Lance Roudenko from Roudenko Cricket Academy also handed out some of his RCA merch along the way.

It’s great for the country kids to be able to relate to city clubs down the track. Many a fine career has started in the bush!

Thanks folks for the great shirts & caps.

Many thanks to Valley District Cricket Club for giving us boxes of new club shirts to hand out to the kids during recent Wanderers country tour.

Here are the kids from Winton looking smart in their Valleys shirts with Geoff Dymock from Australian Cricketers' Association in the middle.

Another Wanderers clinic the day after our annual tour ( Saturday August 22nd ) saw 21 keen boys & girls come along to experience a skills session with 4 coaches.

Lance Roudenko and Brad Murphy went out to South Ripley in Ipswich where there is a magnificent new cricket complex featuring a fully lit turf wicket and net facility.

The Central Districts Cricket Club will be the home club @ this great complex to go along with their Limestone Park facility and hope to promote cricket to multitudes of South Ripley area juniors into the future.
