Photos from a brief walk around the pits this morning on day one of the QLD Historic Motorcycle Road Race Championships. The serious stuff begins tomorrow morning folks. Come on down and witness these magnificent machines on track 👍

The QLD Historic Road Racing Championships kick off Tuesday lunchtime (qualifying) followed by two solid days of racing (Wednesday & Thursday). Remember folks, QEMSC don’t charge entry for spectators so come along and witness these magnificent machines on track.

The count down is on, as folks are making their way from SA,VIC,NSW, Central & Nth QLD to Morgan Park Raceway for the QLD Historic Motorcycle Road Race Championships which kicks off Tuesday lunchtime with the first round of qualifying. This is followed by two solid days (Wednesday & Thursday) of magnificent historic motorcycle racing.

Oooh yeh, you don’t want to miss this one and remember folks, QEMSC don’t charge entry for spectators to come and witness the sights, sounds and smells of the magnificent specticle which is Historic Motorcycle Racing 👍

QR MOTO RIDE DAYS Classic morning is happening tomorrow and apparently the numbers are good.

Information that was handed over from the GM:

On the day entries are ok;
Gates will open at 0700;
Riders Briefing is expected to be 0800;
Bikes on Track 0830;
Sessions are 15 minutes and there is currently 2 groups ("Fast" and "Super Fast" because we aren't slow)
Sidecars are welcome (None have entered yet) but they will get their own session if they show up;
Switchback layout to begin with and then switching to Clubman after a few sessions.

Support these days and QR will continue to put them on for us. At $120 its excellent value. At 15 minute sessions and only 2 groups you can probably do more riding in 4 hours than you do most race weekends!
