Day 1 – Arakaki Sensei’s 6th Australian Training Tour

Today officially kicked off training with Toshimitsu Arakaki Sensei on his sixth Australian Training Tour... the first of three days at the MKAA Honbu Dojo in Wingham, NSW.

With students attending from Wingham, Taree, Laurieton, Canberra, Perth, and Kalgoorlie, it was a great example of what Sensei often calls the importance of “human relations” — something essential for good karate people.

The session covered kihon, kata, kata bunkai (analysis), and a range of kumibo drills, setting a strong tone for the rest of the tour.
