Day one done and dusted at Mid North Coast Working Equitation HOTY Competition.

The weather has been trying to say the least! We have had gale force winds down here today - and both the boys were feeling mighty fresh in their dressage tests!

Cashman settled for the Ease of Handling, and although we always have things to work on, overall we are really happy considering the conditions. We are the only ones in our class this weekend - but very happy with 67.5%

Jody Shone and Charlie were in 1st place after the Dressage but unfortunately rode through a live obstacle in their Ease of Handling which meant they were eliminated.

The boys are locked and loaded!

This weekend we are heading off to Mid North Coast Working Equitation for their Horse of the Year (HOTY) Competition.

Meridias Moonshine Charlie (Charlie) is competing in the Preliminary Class and Cashman is competing Debutante F.

This weekend we joined club members Lou Whitlock and Leanne Grocott for a fun weekend at Clarence Valley Working Equitation HOTY competition. For anyone that’s looking to come and try Working Equitation we couldn’t recommend these weekends enough!

Jody Shone and Charlie came away 3rd Overall in the Preliminary Class and Taylor Shone and Cashman came away Overall Champion in Debutante F.

Baamgal Performance Horses is very excited to announce the start of our 'A Rider's Guide to Working Equitation Obstacles'. We will be creating a video library of all the Working Equitation obstacles here in Australia and how they should be ridden at each level. We will be going through the criteria of each obstacle and how they are evaluated by the Judge!

We would love to hear from you guys which obstacle you would like to see first!
