How good is this! ❤️💛🖤
Pretty proud of what our little Kuulang program has become in just two years.
When we first started this, all we wanted was to give our kids an opportunity to come together, play some netball, make friendships and connect with their culture.
To see how far we've come and what all three of our teams achieved over the weekend is something pretty special.
The trophies are great, but the friendships, connections and memories these kids are making mean so much more.
A massive thank you to everyone who's helped make Kuulang what it is today and to Dan for recognising our little program.
When one wins, we all win! ⭐❤️💛🖤
How good are these little legends from Singleton!
A massive congratulations to the Kuulang Netball Under 10s, who have come home as undefeated Grand Final Champions from the 2026 NSW Koori Netball Championships in Charlestown!
And have a look at these numbers! 👇
🏐 10 round games, 10 wins!
🔥 115 goals scored, just 14 conceded!
💪 Semi Final winners, 15–0!
🏆 Grand Final winners, 12–2!
12 games, 12 wins. You can’t do much better than that!
But what makes me even prouder is the story behind this team.
These nine young girls have had a couple of tough carnivals in the past, but they didn’t give up. They kept turning up, working hard, backing each other and having a crack.
And now they’re bringing home the trophy!
The NSW Koori Netball Championships is about so much more than sport. It’s about bringing Aboriginal communities together, celebrating culture, building friendships and giving our young people opportunities to shine.
A huge shoutout to the coaches, families and everyone behind Kuulang Netball for the work they put into supporting these young champions.
You’ve done Singleton and the entire Hunter proud, girls!
Enjoy every bit of this win. You’ve earned it!
