🏆 BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPIONS! 🏆
Championship showdown on Saturday 19/09 was an absolute battle from start to finish! Going head-to-head against another fierce Flames team, both sides brought the heat in a true clash of the Flames. 🔥While the intensity on the floor was unmatched, the incredible sportsmanship displayed by both teams showed true respect and competitive spirit. Our squad dug deep, stayed resilient, and defended our throne! Huge shoutout to the players for their relentless effort, the coaches for the winning game plan, and our amazing fans for bringing the energy. Title defense is a success!

🏀 WCBA W26 U10.1G - RUNNERS UP!

Really proud of the girls and everything they achieved this season.

The girls finished fourth on the ladder and fought through a couple of great wins during finals to earn themselves a spot in the Grand Final.

It wasn’t the result we wanted, but the girls gave it everything and never gave up.

It’s been great seeing how much they have improved, both individually and as a team. Making the Grand Final was a great experience for them, and they will use it as motivation to go one step further next season.

A shout out to the best group of parents also. Without you guys, our team wouldn’t be what it is. Thank you for all your support throughout the season. - Coach Chris

🏀 WCBA W26 U8.2M - RUNNERS UP!

Our very first season together, a brand-new team, brand-new players and so much to learn. From where we started to where we finished, the improvement has been incredible.

The kids have grown in confidence, skills, teamwork and, most importantly, their love for the game. We finished the season super strong and it’s been amazing watching them develop week after week.

So proud of every single one of them and everything they’ve achieved this season.

We are so proud of the U8.1 Mixed this season. The players have shown incredible dedication and improvement in their training, which is really paid off on game days. Their teamwork and support for one another is what basketball is all about. We can’t wait to see what the next season brings.

🏀WCBA W26 U8 SPECIAL GAME: U8.1 Girls - Runners up!

The U8.1 Girls team played their special game on Saturday 12/09 against Melbourne Stars U8 Mixed 1 at the Casa D’Abruzzo Club. It was a great game and while they didn’t win, they should be incredibly proud of the effort, teamwork, and determination they showed throughout the match. It was a wonderful way to celebrate their season, with Coach David presenting each player with a medal and a Certificate of Achievement to recognise their hard work and commitment. Marymede Flames Basketball Club is pleased to share that Hoop City Epping is supporting the launch of a new basketball coaching program at Casa D’Abruzzo Club, Epping.

The program will be led by D-Mac “Darryl McDonald”, former NBL Champion and Coach, providing young players with a great opportunity to develop their skills and learn from an experienced basketball professional.
