The Koryukan 古流舘

The KORYUKAN is looking for YOU to join our communities of students and families to start your journey in the martial arts.

The KORYUKAN offers a comprehensive system of realistic self defence for students of all ages and experience.

Our classes are held MON, WED & FRI, 5:20pm for Juniors (4-10yrs) and 6:00pm for General Class (11yrs+).

The KORYUKAN is looking for 15 students to join us and make a difference.

Today, we mourn the passing of a martial arts legend, Chuck Norris. A man who went from Karate world champion to Kickboxing world champion, becoming a movie star and legend through endless memes of his fantastical abilities.

As a child I grew up on early Chuck Norris movies and was inspired to begin Karate training. As an adult I admired his character as a man.

The world will miss you Chuck Norris, and is a lesser place without you.

Beach Training in Okinawa

One of the highlights of the trip to Okinawa was training Kumibo with my good friend Jason Griffiths on the beach next to Naminoue Shrine.
