Seaway conditions will continue to remain stable over the next few days with visibility being between 5 to 10 metres.
Easterly winds are less than 15 knots and this will ensure visibility stays reasonable for snorkelers and divers.
High tides are early morning at about 1.5 metres
Swells Offshore are peaking at times at up to 2 metres hence offshore diving will be a nogo.
We have a lot of baitfish in the Seaway at the moment which is keeping the excitement of Dolphins and other pelagics.
We suggest that Seaway Snorkeling and Diving within the Seaway will be rewarding over the next few days.
Always Dive with a buddy and check conditions before entering the water.

⭐️FREE MEET N GREET AT THE SEAWAY 7.30 AM TO 11.30AM SUNDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER
⭐️A BIG WELCOME FOR NEW MEMBERS, ALSO WE CELEBRATE EXISTING MEMBERS…BEVERAGE, CHAIR, GAZEBO, FRIENDS, FAMILY, PETS, GEAR, AND A Great Expectation for Fun.
⭐️Please arrive by 7.30am George will conduct a conditions briefing and we plan to jump in at 8.30am - Snorkelers and Divers all Welcome.
⭐️It will be an Amazing day, so get on down to Doug Jennings Park and look for the banners. On the corner of the big park, facing the water.
⭐️Before the water activities, Sharon will offer an update on our forthcoming Trip - The DREAM BALI ADVENTURE IN APRIL 2027 17TH TO 24TH
⭐️This will be a great opportunity to meet new people and identify dive buddies for future trips. This is also a great time to get to know the Seaway - George Manolis KNOWS THE SEAWAY! - ALL NEW PEOPLE ARE WELCOME!
⭐️ We can always pop over to the kiosk and grab a bite to eat, or bring a snack with you.

⭐️Also please note we would appreciate volunteers for Surface Watch, Paper Work, and also Nurses, Paramedics, Doctors or qualified First Aiders assist on a roster of the safety tent. Please message George to help here.

ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL!
A BIG FAREWELL TO Helen, who has been a huge support in the bookings side of the Trips for GCDS.
Helen has been our friend for many years, and I could not have put these trips together without her dedication to you all. We wish her well with all her future endeavours.
Thank you Helen for all your hard work, and being my go to for my back up. You have been greatly appreciated.
A HUGE WELCOME TO John who you will be dealing with now for all the bookings.
John is a good friend that we knew before GCDS and has been a loyal founding member of GCDS from the beginning, and knows the operations of our group well.
John is a Dive Master and knows the industry well, he will be well known to many in the group.
We will be going live with the Bali Trip this weekend and you will still use the same email address, and his contact details will be on the brochure.

Recreational Snorkel and Dive tomorrow ( Saturday) at the Seaway if your keen ?

The wind warnings have been cancelled, its currently blowing about 5 to 8 knots, and tomorrow should be looking good in the Seaway.

Offshore not so much, as swells are still over 2 metres.

I am scuba diving tomorrow, and I am sure we will have many snorkelers getting wet as well.

Meet 1.30pm and get wet 230pm.
