What a night!
First off, shout out to all those who messaged before and after the fight. Much love to all.

After training various martial arts for so long now, a MMA fight was always going to be in the cards. A few years ago, I decided I wanted to have a fight before i turned 40. Well, I turned 40, 3 weeks ago.

Although the night didn't go my way, I enjoyed it so much. And despite the TKO, the worst part of the night was the nerves.

Firstly, the biggest of thank yous to my opponent Adam Davis. Big thank you to my coaches, Andrea Walk, Leif Prime, Lochie Ross, Ross Weeding, Mark Cruzaz and Jessie Beard.

Huge thank you to Jessie at Fighting Spirit Fitness & Nutrition for all the nutritional advice during the weight cut. Starting at 117.8kg(i think my scales are dodgy and i was probably more like 118.5kg) and weighing in at 100.2kg. And I felt great! Energised!

Big thank you to all my training partners at Kazoku Kai, Eclipse Dojo's , De Been 100% Jiu Jitsu - Ipswich, Enso Karate

What a day. Entered a MMA tournament on a few days notice. Didn't quite go my way, but i have learnt alot of lessons.

Another milestone to finish out 2022 with a promotion to 3rd kyu with . Further adding to the repertoire.
