🏆 A WIN BY 7 WICKETS 🏏

What a fantastic day of cricket for the Springsure Ringers, taking on the Wanderers at Springsure Cricket Ground!

After a great afternoon of cricket and community support, the Ringers took to the field ready for the challenge.

The Wanderers batted first, finishing their innings on 136 runs from 47.2 overs. The Ringers then came out firing with the bat, chasing down the total in just 18.4 overs, finishing on 138/3 and securing a convincing 7-wicket victory! 💪🏏

It was a fantastic team performance from start to finish — strong bowling, great fielding and a confident batting display to get the job done.

A huge thank you to the Wanderers for making the trip to Springsure and being part of such a great day for our club and community.

Last week we welcomed The Wanderers Cricket team to town for a fantastic cricket clinic with our local school kids! 💙🏏

With over 45+ kids in attendance, it was a wonderful morning filled with cricket, plenty of laughs, learning new skills and getting out there having a go!

Thanks to Springsure State School and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Springsure for involving your students to our travelling clinic.

A huge thank you to the Wanderers players for giving their time and sharing their passion for the game with our young players. It was fantastic to see so many kids involved and enjoying themselves!

Ringers will be hosting the Wanderers this Thursday 13 August at our Springsure Cricket Fields.

Lunch will be served to Ringers players and Wanderers Team, and available for spectators. Please indicate below if you will be attending.

Dinner will be served to Ringers Families and Wanderers Team at the Springsure Country Golf Club that evening. Please indicate number below including partners and kids if attending. Numbers would be appreciated by Tuesday.

Our AGM is fast approaching and without active members and a committee, Springsure Ringers will cease to exist. We are looking to YOU for support us in making our club great.

Our season is officially over and the wait til our next begins! Thank you to everyone who has supported, watched, cheered or played this season! Without you our small but mighty club wouldn’t be what it is today! We have some great up and coming juniors and look forward to what the 2026/2027 brings!

Not the result we hoped for, with the Springsure Ringers falling short to the Clermont Bulls in the Grand Final on the weekend.

But what a season it’s been. We’re proud of our team — the efforts on and off the field from juniors to retired seniors, and every person who’s played a part in what’s been a special year for the Ringers. We’re a small club with a big country heart.

Thanks to Clermont for a quality game. A well-polished and competitive team who set the standard all season — always a great contest and played in good spirit. We’ll learn, grow, and be back.

Special mention to Jackson Schuh, James O’Keeffe and Byron Gale who were honoured in the ‘Central Highlands Team of the Year.’ Congratulations on your efforts this season, they haven’t gone unnoticed.

The Springsure Ringers may be small in numbers, but we’re big in heart and passionate for the game. Big thanks to everyone who has pitched in and helped this season to help grow the club and continue this great game for our rural town.
