Last weekend saw the 5D Physio 2nds fall fairly badly in their batting meaning they will now miss the finals.

BBC Digital Australia 6th Division in the first day of a 2 day match didnt have a great day either although Steve Chatwood scored 42 to hold a small innings together

In the 2nd Day of 7ths v 7ths Will and the Blue team pushed hom their advantage to run through the Gold Boys despite a few handy scores. Its said Dylan Oblein had the best bowling figures but I'll need to hear it from someone present before ill believe that - you can ask him Canterbury Hotel this Saturday night.

With the 2nds day finishing early I only havr pictures of our team drink but with the End of Regular season drinks on tommorrow night and possibly well into the early hours we should have many more for next week.

Excitingly 7ths Blue will be in the finals - which we will report on hopefully a march to the premiership every week for the ne t few weeks

🔥 SUNS v SUNS – 7th Grade Showdown! 🔥

What a cracking in-club battle as the Summer Hill Suns 7th Grade Gold and Blue sides went head-to-head in a spirited contest full of grit, runs, and tight bowling spells! ☀️🏏

Blue set a solid total of 6/239 from 58 overs, built on a classy unbeaten 83 from Ryan Stevenson and a strong 60 from Syed Tanvir Ahmed. A proper captain’s knock and a rock-solid partnership that gave the innings real backbone.

With the ball, the Gold attack kept things competitive all day:
🎯 Paul O’Hare was outstanding with 2/29 from 10 overs
🎯 Kyle Brincat chipped in with 2 wickets and great control
🎯 Timothy Mansini and Dan Host both struck at key moments

Plenty of highlights, great sportsmanship, and exactly what club cricket is all about — teammates today, rivals tomorrow, Suns always! 🌞

Sorry for a few quiet weeks of posts but you intrepid reporter has been busy. A weird start to the 2nd half of the season - first game cancelled because of the heat, 2nd game cancelled because of the rain but everyone back on the field (with a little help from 5D Physio ) and back enjoying themselves after Canterbury Hotel.

A good win by Will and the boys on Saturday, a couple of close losses by 2nd and the other 7ths team and I need to follow up the results of our BBC Digital Australia 6ths.

With a a few weeks to finals hopefully we see some strong results and 2 or 3 teams making the top 4.
