WEEKEND WRAP - Round 10 - GATHER ROUND

Our final game for our inaugural season and what a way to finish it off but up against the undefeated Brunswick Mudlarks Football Club. The last time we faced the Muddies was in Round 2 where we lost 99 - 0. This game was very different, with a few more players on the list and more games under our belt we managed to really push the Mudlarks and give them a run for their money as they head into the first week of finals.
Our women had an awesome day working alongside some fill-in players from Williamstown Superules Football Club and Wyndham Masters Football Club managing to score 37 points against the top team for the season. A great way to finish off the season.

As we head into the final game of the home and away season we head down to Box Hill North for Gather Round where will take on the undefeated Brunswick Mudlarks Football Club.

Our ladies are coming off an amazing game having won back to back games for the first time this season against Northside Lions Superules.

We're proud to announce our Round 10 team and look forward to seeing the girls pull on the jumper and represent the club one more time.

Get down to Elgar Park South East Oval as we to see how these ladies finish up in their inaugural season.

ROUND 10 - Gather Round 💙🤍

This Saturday we make the trek to Box Hill North as we take on the undefeated Brunswick Mudlarks. The last time these two teams met were in Round 2. As we approach the last game of the season our Lions have improved immensely and look forward to taking it to the Mudlarks and see how much they have improved over the season.

The players are excited to get out on the ground and have a run around in what will be the last game of the season. Come on down and support the women in what is sure to be a great game.

PRESENTATION NIGHT

Join us as we celebrate an unforgettable 2026 season and recognise the people who made it so special.

From our very first bounce to the friendships forged along the way, this season has been filled with memorable moments, milestones, determination and incredible team spirit. Together we've celebrated first games, first wins, personal achievements and the continued growth of Masters football at our club.

Presentation Night is an opportunity to acknowledge the commitment of our players, coaches, volunteers, supporters and sponsors who have all played an important role throughout the season. It's a chance to reflect on everything we've achieved together, celebrate our award winners, and look ahead to an exciting future.

Come along for a fantastic evening as we recognise a remarkable 2026 season and celebrate the people who make our Masters football community so special.

WEEKEND WRAP - Round 9

What a great day at Glen Orden Reserve! The team was buzzing with terrific support from players, families and volunteers as our women’s masters took the field.

Our women produced a standout performance to record back-to-back wins for the first time this season and their first win against an inform Northside Lions Superules. The team brought consistent pressure, clean ball movement and strong finishing in front of goal, backing each other for four quarters. A well-deserved reward for the commitment shown by the group.

Our ladies are also coming off an amazing game having won their second for the season against Darebin Falcons

WEEKEND WRAP - Round 8

What a massive day at Clarke Oval! With three fantastic games across two divisions , the club was buzzing from start to finish. The atmosphere around the ground was incredible, and it was great to see so many players, families, volunteers (dogs) and supporters getting behind our women’s masters football program.

A huge congratulations to Kelly Irene and Kirsty Baker on reaching their well-deserved milestones. What an outstanding achievement and one you should both be incredibly proud of.

A big thank you also goes to everyone who helped make the day happen. From setting up, packing down, working behind the scenes and lending a hand wherever it was needed, it was a huge team effort. It was a lot of work, but seeing the club come together made it incredibly rewarding.

To top it all off, our Women secured their second win of the season with a fantastic performance against Darebin Falcons. The women brought the pressure, played selfless team football and backed each other in for four quarters. It was a reward for the hard work that’s been building all season and another step forward as we continue to grow.

The team is looking forward to getting back on the field after their heartbreaking loss to Wyndham Masters Football Club in Round 7.
