Join us tomorrow for hill sprints and take your running to the next level! Hill sprints help improve running form and mechanics, build resistance to fatigue, and strengthen lower body muscles. They also increase stroke volume, allowing more blood to be pumped to the muscles, which supports endurance. Additionally, hill sprints provide bursts of speed development without the wear and tear of traditional speed work.

Tomorrows session: 6x1km intervals to focus on top-end speed and race pacing. Interval training is one of the most effective ways to improve both endurance and speed. By alternating between high-intensity efforts and recovery, we boost aerobic capacity, improve lactate threshold, and increase efficiency at faster paces. This is crucial for race day performance, and especially for those prepping for events like Hyrox, where speed and endurance are key. Consistency with intervals builds strength and helps you push through those critical race moments. Let’s get to work

This week’s run club will feature a 2km warm-up jog followed by 5x500m hill repeats. At Vision Run Club, we like to mix it up and challenge the body in different ways. Hill repeats are highly beneficial for technique and conditioning, which is why we try to make them a feature once a month. Not just another run club!
Run clubs seem to be very on brand for 2024 but for vision it’s so much more than jumping on a trend.
Vision run club is the child of our first ever fitness business runfit noosa and our now well established functional gym
Over the last two and a half years at vision we have bonded and connected over our love of fitness and have entered multiple run events as a community bringing us even closer together.
The goal of vision run club isn’t just to run socially but to run well. Each Sunday we follow a carefully planned out program to get the most out of each run.
