Bilateral Coordination is a prerequisite for gross motor skills ; such as walking, running, climbing stairs.
๐
When we talk about crossing the midline , the midline we are referring to is an imaginary line drawn from head to feet separating the left & right halves of the body.
We work on this starting with bilateral movements, ultimately progressing to those that cross the midline ; once the left & right brain are communicating better.
๐
Firstly starting with the two sides of the body learning to work well together doing the same thing with specific movements.

Happy, Bright & Beautiful.
Just like all of you ๐
Let's talk Fish Oil, the brain and DHA.....does anyone know about DHA?? ๐ค๐ค
The brain is a very complex part of your body. ๐ง ๐ง ๐ง
It needs LOADS of omega-3 fatty acids and especially the fatty acid called DHA.
We can't make these types of fatty acids, and need to get them from good nutrition and supplements. ๐ฑ๐๐
There are 3 main kinds of omega-3 fatty acids and DHA is the MOST important one for your brain.๐
DHA, counts for the 97% for the omegas found in your brain....THATS HUGE!!!!! Agreeโ
The human brain is largely made of fat - 60% actually!!! ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ
DHA plays a role in brain cell communication. ๐ใฐ๏ธใฐ๏ธใฐ๏ธ
1๏ธโฃIt supports optimal levels of many important neurotransmitters.
2๏ธโฃIt also improves the function of neurotransmitter receptors, allowing the brain to better utilize these brain chemicals.
โถ๏ธDHA has proven helpful for a wide range of diseases including arthritis, atherosclerosis, depression, diabetes, heart disease, and some cancers. ๐๐๐๐๐
Just as you need calcium for strong bones, you need DHA for a strong central nervous system.
Numerous studies show that when children with ADHD are given supplemental omega-3s (both DHA and EPA), they experience significant improvement in attention, hyperactivity, defiant behaviour, and sleep. ๐๐๐๐๐๐
One study found that children with major depressive disorder experienced a 40% decrease in depressive symptoms when given DHA supplements.
Omega-3 and DHA supplementation were found to improve anxiety and depression scores and reduce suicidal thinking by 45% in adults.
The human brain ๐ง naturally shrinks with age, but DHA helps to preserve brain volume. YAY!! ๐คฉ๐คฉ
People low in DHA have smaller brains that age faster than those with normal levels. ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Our Omega+ brings you the highest quality Omega 3โs, DHA and Vitamin D to optimally support and maintain your heart, brain and health. ๐๐๐ AMEN to that!!!!!!!
