Sunshine Coast Push-Hands & Tai Chi
We are affiliated with West End Push-Hands.
This page is to invite anyone on the Sunshine Coast and beyond with an interest to connect, meet, explore and practice the art of push-hands and Tai Chi in a friendly, non-competitive learning environment.
Excellent Sat. morning meet with Craig Mallett (Pomona), Dwight Campbell (Buderim) and David Tsang (Maleny) commentary by Joey Nishad (West End). All have many years of experience in the study and practice of Push-Hands yet still learning and developing, each on their personal journey.

Training and tutorship with Joey Nishad weekend visit from Brisbane West End.
This weekend 17-19 I'm going to West End, Brisbane and meet up with some of the best, very skilled practitioners of push-hands Queensland has to offer. I try to make this trip once a month for the past couple years now. They are a great group, meet every Sunday and open for anyone to come, as is our meet in Buderim. Meanwhile I'll leave my local back yard push-hands mob to practice on their own.

Had a fantastic time and a boost of skills attending a two day Mien Gong Fu workshop taught by Master Anthony Tyler last weekend in Nimbin NSW. Saturday was great Sunday even better as more very skilled people showed up from near and far to attend and participate.
I'm really looking forward to next weekend for the Buderim Saturday push hands session. Then Sunday, Craig Mallet is having one of his very insightful internal workshops in Pomona Qld. https://checkout.square.site/merchant/0F7MV9AZ2B9VK/checkout/MR2HRBZN7IME76JEREIIXVMQ I would encourage anyone who has an interest in internal development to attend Craigs workshops and especially his annual retreat in Sept. https://craigmallett.com/arc-retreat/ Which I've attended twice but this year unfortunately unable to. It is well worth it!

Good session yesterday with a couple of additional guests learning about the inner workings and the difference between using muscular force and internal power. Couple of hours of fun then off to the Coffee Club for drinks and conversation where we were joined by a couple more practitioners.
Going to Phuket, Thailand this weekend for 2 week large frame tai chi workshop conducted by Adam Mizner. This should add yet another layer and deeper understanding of the inner workings in my journey. Very fortunate to have good people I can connect to in this group, the West End push-hands group and other very skilled individuals, to further develop my skills as well as teaching. That is the key to good progress for oneself and others.
