Caloundra Rugby Union proudly thanks Rascal Rugby for their valued support of our Club and the future of grassroots rugby on the Sunshine Coast.
Rascal Rugby are helping introduce the next generation to the game through fun, engaging and skill-based rugby programs for young children, creating a love for rugby, teamwork and community from an early age. Their passion for developing young players and building confidence through sport strongly aligns with the values of our Lighthouse family.
Weāre incredibly grateful to have local businesses and programs like Rascal Rugby standing beside the black and yellow and helping grow the game within our community.

It might just look like a kidsā class from the outsideā¦
But for them, it becomes something they recognise, remember and look forward to.
The games feel familiar.
The coaches feel familiar.
The flow of the session starts to make sense.
And before long, theyāre not just turning up⦠theyāre talking about it, remembering it and asking when itās happening again.
Thereās no pressure to get it perfect.
Just a space where they can join in, have a go and feel like they belong.
And when that happens⦠kids naturally want to come back š§”

A little snapshot of life at Rascal Rugby: Noosa edition šš
These moments say everything we love about what we do: kids moving, learning, laughing, and growing in confidence without even realising it.
From first attempts to full-speed chaos (the good kind š), every session is built around one thing, giving kids the space to feel capable in their bodies and confident in a group.
Big shoutout to for capturing these moments so perfectly. Youāve managed to bottle up the energy, joy, and personality of our little Rascals in a way words never quite can.
This is what it looks like when sport meets play, outdoors on the Sunshine Coast.
And this is just one session at Noosa Rascals š

At Rascal Rugby, coaching isnāt one size fits all.
Some days itās patience.
Some days itās energy.
Always, itās connection.
We meet each child where theyāre at, whether theyāre shy, tired, full of energy or just finding their feet.
Because when kids feel seen and supported, everything else follows š§”

From the outside, it can look like kids just running, playing and having fun š¾
And they are.
But thereās also something bigger happening in every session.
Theyāre learning how to join in, how to listen, how to try something new, and how to be part of a group. All through play.
Some kids start by watching from the sidelines. Others jump straight in. But over time, with support and encouragement, you can see the shift.
More confidence. More involvement. More belief in themselves.
Thatās what weāre really building in these sessions.
Not just rugby skills⦠but kids who are willing to give things a go š§”
