What a week in Aachen for Charlie Magnier and Notre Dame de Bourguignon!

Representing Australia in the CSIY Young Riders competition, Charlie and Notre Dame stepped onto the world stage, delivering speed and precision with each round. Taking home 6th in the 1.40m class and 4th in the 1.40m Team Competition, where they delivered the fifth-fastest clear round of the class, before finishing their week with just one rail in Sunday’s Grand Prix.

It was particularly exciting to see Charlie make his mark in Aachen, having watched him progress from the Magic Millions Junior Individual through to his debut ride in the Senior Teams competition this year aboard Notre Dame.

A fantastic experience and another exciting step for Charlie and Notre Dame. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this pair and we hope to see them back on the Gold Coast for the Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping, Sunday 10 January 2027!

Wishing the very best of luck to Australia’s next generation of showjumping talent as they prepare to represent their country in the Concours de Saut International Young Riders (CISY) in Aachen, held alongside the FEI World Championships.

Wishing Australian Driving Champion Boyd Exell and his team the very best of luck as they take on the FEI World Championships in Aachen.

One of the most accomplished equestrians, Boyd will take on the world’s best in Four-in-Hand Driving, combining precision, speed, skill and an extraordinary partnership with his team of horses.

We’re incredibly proud to watch Boyd’s journey on the international stage and look forward to seeing the action unfold.

Showjumping gets underway today at the FEI World Championships in Aachen, and we are proudly cheering on the Australian team as they take to the world stage.

Among the team are some familiar Magic Millions faces. Tom McDermott and Jamie Winning-Kermond, both part of multiple Magic Millions Senior Teams events, alongside former Magic Millions Racing Women Ambassador Edwina Tops-Alexander.

To the entire Australian Showjumping Team, we wish you the very best of luck and we can’t wait to see the action unfold in Aachen.

Across the class, we saw another wonderful display of the athleticism, versatility and heart of the Thoroughbred, and the exciting second careers these horses continue to forge beyond racing.
