WHAT A GREAT MORNING AT WENTWORTH POINT SPORTS PARK! ⚽️🧡

What a fantastic morning hosting the Churches Football Association Sydney Inc U6s at Wentworth Point Sports Park!

It was a real honour for Wentworth Point Sports Club to host such an enjoyable event and see so many young players, families and supporters enjoying the morning, despite the rain! 🌧️⚽️

It was also wonderful to catch up with CFA Secretary Kim and President Paul. Thank you for trusting us to host the round and for everything you do to support grassroots football.

A huge thank you to all our club helpers who gave up their Saturday to help with the BBQ, setup, serving and pack-up. Your support makes events like this possible. 🧡

A special mention to Arinjoy, our Manager, Board applicant and BBQ chef extraordinaire 🌭🔥, and Vice President Peter, who both put in full shifts from start to finish, including the pack-up in the heavy rain! 🌧️👏

That's what community sport, belonging and being part of something bigger is all about: turning up, getting involved and supporting each other. 🧡

Thank you to everyone who came down, supported the BBQ and helped make it such a great morning.

A huge congratulations to our very own Yusuf Dehen, who has been selected for the NSW U18 European Handball Team to compete at the National Championships! 🇦🇺🏆

What makes this achievement even more impressive? Yusuf is just 14 years old!

An incredible achievement and a fantastic recognition of his talent, hard work and commitment to the sport.

COME DOWN & SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY CLUB!

This Saturday 15 August, come down to Wentworth Point Sports Park, opposite Marina Square Shopping Centre, and enjoy the atmosphere as we host the Churches Football Association Sydney Inc 6s round, with five matches running from 9:00am–12:00pm.

Bring the family, watch some great football, grab a sausage from the BBQ 🌭, and support your local community sports club!
