So incredibly proud of Miss Ava today at the CIS Athletics Carnival, she achieved a gold in Discus and a Silver in Shot put! Not only did she medal but she also achieved an amazing Australian Record performance in the shot put! So proud of the time, effort and commitment that Ava puts into throwing and I look forward to seeing her compete next week at the All Schools Championships!

New distance challenge for a new cause! This November I am aiming to push 150km for The Starlight Foundation! The Starlight Foundation uses play, social connection and creativity to support sick kids in hospital during their toughest times in order to give them a positive hospital experience. I remember as a kid going to the Starlight Room to play video games after an all day specialist and clinic visit. I have created a team for this challenge! Final gym session completed here at the staging camp in Tonbridge before I head to Birmingham tomorrow into the Commonwealth Games Village with the rest of Team Australia! 5 days to go until my debut Commonwealth Games Shot put competition!

Winners all around this weekend across two state championships! did an amazing effort in the Shot put at the State Championships, achieving a bronze medal. Back in very wet and rainy NSW, and did a brilliant job at the Junior State Championships where they both received a myriad of achievements! Very proud of my team! Thank you to Coach for supporting the juniors while Julie was coaching down in Victoria.

Pretty good competition on Friday night at the Athletics NSWOpen, Under 23 and Para Championships. I achieved a gold in the discus and a bronze in the shot put. A lot of lessons learned. Onwards and upwards!!!
