My best grade teams - Jason Holley 1993 to 2010
I was 15 when I first started playing with Sutherland District Cricket Club and 17 when I made my first grade debut in 1993.
I’ve selected my best ever Sutherland team from players I played with and then another where I’ve played with everyone for over 12 months and we trained, played cards and had the odd beverage together.

Russell Wilcoxon - never back down, always move forward
Russell Wilcoxon is the most capped Fairfield Liverpool Cricketer having played over 450 grade games for the club.
He made his first grade debut on 1 October 1998 against Campbelltown Camden to become Fairfield Liverpool player number 83

Bradmans Best St George XI featuring details on Harry Theak
A cassette in our collection contains brief remarks from Don Bradman, in which he selected his best St George Cricket Club XI from all the cricketers he had seen playing for the club. He said: “Alan Fairfax and I became the club’s first international representatives in 1928. In the ensuing years many fine players gravitated through the St. George ranks - St George District Cricket Club Sydney

Adrian Tucker - hold your nerve
Adrian Tucker made his first class debut for NSW during the 1989/90 season and went on to take 4 wickets in the 1989/90 Sheffield Shield Final won by NSW. Memorably he took the wicket of Allan Border the Australian captain in both innings.
In 17 first class games Adrian took 45 wickets at 40.13 with best figures of 5 for 38.

UTS North Sydney First Grade 2020/21
The UTS North Sydney First Grade team finished 8th in 2020/21, completing the season with a 9-wicket rout of Sutherland at Bon Andrews Oval. Captain, Tom Jagot, finished the season with exactly 1,000 runs and was later named the joint winner of the prestigious O'Reilly Medal for the First Grade competition player of the year. James Campbell was top wicket-taker with 33.
