We have added another little piece of Bliss to our garden over the weekend. A beautiful bubbling brook water feature .... you might have noticed that when you’re surrounded by green grass and peaceful nature sounds such as a running stream, birds singing in the trees or simply the wind moving the leaves in a forest, you suddenly become a lot more peaceful and content. Well, recent studies show that the sounds of running water contribute to an overall feeling of calmness and a peace of mind body and spirit.

Rejoice..... just saying that word brings the old church hymn to mind. 🎶 Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say Rejoice..... 🎶 I can see all the Granny’s singing and clapping. (I was 10 and they were probably only 50)
It’s such a beautiful word filled with the fullness of Joy and beckoning us to immerse ourselves in all that the essence of Joy beholds.
To feel or show great joy or delight..... what does that look like?
So many of us gave up smiling and laughing so long ago. I mean life is a serious business and that’s nothing to be happy about. ....
LET GO.... let’s surrender to Joy.
Let the Joy giver Himself overwhelm us with His goodness and strengthen us with the very thing that is undignified and unexplainable in its capacity to bring us into the fullness of His LOVE!!!!

It’s Banquet time at Ruach Retreat..... just one of the gorgeous spaces to enjoy the fellowship and feasting with one another as we learn and become activated in the things of the spirit. We are all in this together, because I am in Him and He is in me.

Our skies have their own therapeutic qualities.... we are part of the incredible dark sky park, our evenings are blessing with a billion star and our sunsets... 🌅 well here is one we prepared for you earlier. The Zinnias love it.

Release... SET FREE! LET GO!!
Release... Allow or enable to escape from confinement. To move act or flow freely.
Release... To give freedom or free movement to someone or something.
Release is a powerful word for this time of transition. It is filled with liberty and hope for something better. It encapsulates the freedom found in the arms of Yahweh. He draws us in and then whispers “LET GO”. Let go of everything that is worrying you, Let go of the things you are trying to control... but quite obviously can’t. Let Go of all those things you have once laid down yet keep on picking up and mulling over.
Freedom is found in RELEASE and Release is all about Letting Go!!

Its somewhere you can take your feet off the ground, breathe, lean back and fly... 🦅 🌳 💖 There is something so amazing about the feeling of being on a swing. It’s one of those things we don’t do enough as adults. I love that swings are usually relegated to playgrounds and the Playground is another dance floor where Yahweh wants to hang out with us in the Bliss and Glory of His goodness. We have a swing here at our beautiful retreat centre inviting you back into the wonder of life before everything got to serious.
