As I left Cusco in Peru I did feel as though I could have stayed longer…..the mountains & Sacred Valley are so very magical…..a brief stop over in Lima before hitting Costa Rica

Machu Picchu has amazing energy. I was lucky enough to have a beautiful guide who completely understood my connection to the energy of the place and shared her knowledge and wisdom beautifully.

In selfishness I wish the other 5000 tourists just buggered off and I could have had the place to myself! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yep…..there were actually llamas there grazing!

In the last two days Peru has given and given…..we have hiked up and down mountains, met local healers who have brought us into balance with our masculine and feminine energies, released burdens from our ancestors and met true Incan descendants who have travelled from the mountains to meet with us because of the work of the founder of Willka Tika. They preformed a wonderful ceremony where we honoured the Earth, the rivers, lakes and mountains of Peru and all our countries….we have honoured the practice on Anyi…..giving to others/ Earth before ourselves.

Visited the salt mines, where a spring of salt water feeds the ponds.

I had an outdoor bath under the night sky and the Southern Cross appeared and I realised I wasn’t that far from home!

I am currently staying in Sacred Valley at approximately 2800 m above sea level. On Day 2 in Peru I thought I would challenge myself on a hike to the Pisaq ruins (I was driven most of the way with the intention to explore the ruins and then hike about 2-3 hours down to the town below), elevation 3500m above sea level…..doesn’t sound like much but I had my first encounter with altitude sickness. I made it about 10m short of the top but just felt so dizzy and unwell I had to start the decent back down to the valley township of Pisaq…..the Andean hill dwellers were quite remarkable in their capacity to build an work the land in extreme conditions and on extreme slopes…..most of us are just plain soft by comparison 🤣🤣🤣
