The Concept 11 is a med/high volume ski boot utilising the BOA system lower enclosure to mitigate the dreaded instead pressure point often associated with a high volume foot.

But it’s a part of the ski purchasing process that remains a bit of a hidden behind closed workshop doors. With that, people are always curious about what goes on and how it’s done.

What Size Snowboard should you buy??
The question comes up a lot and it’s actually a super quick explanation.
Short answer: beginners aim for between your chin and your collarbone.
More experienced riders aim for between your lips and your nose.

Slightly longer explanation: Just like cars.
A smaller car is easier to manoeuvre at low speeds and park but it can suffer at higher speeds with stability.
A larger board may feel a little harder to mover around at low speeds but it will provide more stability and power as your skill progresses. There are some exceptions to the rule with things like Volume shift geometry and Camber/Rocker Profiles etc. but we can get into that in the next few videos.
