Today we acknowledge and remember the children who were forced into residential schools and survived but continue to live with traumas.
We also grieve those who never returned home.
Praying that Creator gives us the strength to cope with the triggering emotions that may arise today and many days as we continue to uncover our truths.

Maybe itβs because I am calmer as a mom and your two older sisters have tested my patience on too many occasions for me to worry about the little things.
Maybe itβs because you are a miracle in more ways than one.
Or maybe itβs because you are the last. After you, I will never love another little human the same as I have you or your sisters and I am soaking it all in.
Whatever it is, it is different.

The vibe is different when your body and mind are strong.
I suffered immensely with health issues in my last pregnancy (not complaining about being pregnant, that was a gift).
More than ever, it was clear that I never want to be severely sick again (as much as I can prevent it anyway).
Invest in you. You will never regret it.
