After the strip down, we took the oppurtunity to add some more bar work, we added a tr**ny slide and twin rail the chassis.
We also added a new strengthened sheet metal diff from Pro Metal Worx and Shanes chassis

The real damage from that hit was more then met the eye.. here are some pics of us investigating how far the damage went when we stripped the car down

Hey guys,
Just wanted to introduce ourselves, a couple years ago we bought Gerry’s old record breaking LS1 ute. Just wanted to share some photos and videos of the car of how it was when we purchased it at the time, aswell as where it is now.
Having never driven anything at that level before coming from a 8sec radial street car to a 6 sec big tyre, was a massive leap and we were definetly up for the challenge.
Within a few test sessions we were running the car in the 6.8s which was close to the cars PB of 6.80.
Unfortunately most people would know we had a unfortunate accident at Grudge Kings hitting the wall at half track, which was not only a reminder how dangerous this sport can be. Luckily everyone was alright and the spirits werent killed. We have since rebuilt the car from the ground up and wanted to share the process of getting back ready to hit the track, including the damage that was caused and the rebuild process to make it new and improved
