Second test of CageRace’s TORRENT format, with Masters swimmers.

This race is designed for the screen, and we are still in test mode.

We used two Insta360 cameras. One on the start, and one underwater. From those two cameras alone, we pulled 16 angles. I have 14 of these cameras planned for the series.

Commentator coverage was on the iPhone 16 and 17. We also used three ActionCam 6s.

CageRace will take you into the water and you will feel the pressure waves.

Tomorrow, the swimming world’s first Tribunal will be held via Zoom, where the winners will be announced.

Then we re-group and go again, with the last two tests now on July 12.

Indiegogo pre-registration opens on July 14, and the campaign to create a league of swimmers, for swimmers, and ruled by swimmers, kicks off on the Gold Coast on August 14 with a film we’ve made about the struggles to get here.

Tradition and convention stood in the way. Went out of their way to compromise what we planned to do. But tradition isn't the worship of ashes. It is the preservation of fire. And when you call something TORRENT and plan and wait to shoot it in a storm, then you'll understand there is nothing more powerful than an idea who's time has come.
