Congratulations to South West Sydney Blues’ Uchenna Egbu on being named our Round 7 Men's Rising Star! 👏

The talented ruckman has continued his impressive form, backing up another dominant performance in the Blues’ hard fought win over UNSW. In tough conditions, Chen finished with 30 hit outs and 5 clearances, proving pivotal around the contest all day long.

A multi-sport athlete, Chen previously played junior Rugby League with the St George Dragons and has also represented Australia in athletics at the Oceania Athletics Championships. His athleticism and competitiveness have made an immediate impact since stepping into the No.1 ruck role this season.

Known around the club as a natural born leader, she sets the standard both on and off the field, always putting in the extra work at training and leading by example on game day.
