It's been a dream of mine for many years to visit this 'old school' Boxing gym where GREAT LEGENDS such as Muhammad Ali & Mike Tyson have trained out of plus receiving a cheeky cuddle or two or three from Coach Tony was a bonus!!! π

Itβs all about your LEGS!!! π¦΅πΎπ¦΅πΎ
Most people assume that Boxing is about your upper body but in actual fact itβs all about your LEGS!!!
Itβs where you generate most of your power through correct bodyweight distribution and moving through the hips whilst incorporating your desired strikes with good form and technique.
In this particular combo : 2 x Left Uppers + 1 x Left Hook... Bodyweight is shifted onto the back leg where in my case Iβm standing in Orthodox stance (left leg forward right leg back) and lifting up through my left leg.

β¨π«β¨ " L I G H T ! ! ! " β¨π«β¨
Over 10.5years ago whilst rumbling through my darkest moments & suffering through depression, I found my spiritual awakening through the Martial Art : Muay Thai Kickboxing.
One of the brightest moments in my life was spending Christmas Day in Thailand... Being gifted by beautiful chanting prayers from the Buddhist Monks.
I was fortunate enough to GIVE back with a GRATEFUL HEART β€οΈππΎ to have the opportunity to serve them lunch... Something so simple but yet so beautiful.
β¨ The head Buddhist Monk had asked myself for a photo with him and asked me to pose with my Muay Thai stance (seated, as women are to sit whilst in their presence)
Fulfilled with much LOVE... I started to feel ALIVE again and feel the warmth of happiness which had been missing for so long.
