UNITED FIJI COMMUNITY (UFC) is a Sydney based Umbrella Body for many Charitable, Sporting, Religious, and Media Organisations who have charity at heart and empathise with people affected by catastrophe. UFC’s first successful initiative was its public appeal and relief work in Nepal after the devastating earthquakes in April 2015. This was later supported by UFC’s Relief Report and Audited Financial Report which was endorsed by Fiji’s Prime Minister during his visit to Sydney in October 2015.

I take this opportunity as a President of United Fiji Community to thank you all, the invited guests, members, volunteer members and participants to this inaugural Diwali celebrations in NSW Parliament House by first ever Fijian Community. I salute my Project Coordinator Radhe Bhai, Bobby Mishra spearheading the celebration coordination and leading to the successful event of a lifetime. My sincere apologies for not assisting in anyway due to unforeseen circumstances. Once again keep up the good work. God Bless you all.

We also appreciate the special message from the Hon. Prime Minister of Fiji, Frank Bainimarama, read to the attendees of the United Fiji Community’s inaugural Diwali Celebrations at the Parliament House of NSW.

Our Story
UNITED FIJI COMMUNITY (UFC) is a Sydney based ‘Umbrella Body’ for many Charitable, Not for Profits, Religious, Sporting, Media, Corporate Bodies and similar organisations who have origins to Fiji, and have charity at heart and empathise with people affected by catastrophe.
Many Individual Donors, Volunteers and Social Workers are also affiliated to UFC.
This Umbrella Body was established in 2015 to provide relief to the survivors of the devastating earthquake in Sindhupalchowk District Villages/ Village Development Committees in Nepal. This was UFC’s first successful charitable initiative via public appeal for funds followed by UFC members travelling at their personal costs to carry out relief distribution in Nepal in May 2015 to rehabilitate earthquake survivors from the devastating earthquakes in April 2015.
