MJ Meraj, the shining star of Sydney Bangladeshi Community cricket, has etched his name in history as the Sports Legacy player of the tournament. In 4 matches, he amassed a staggering total of 246 runs with an impressive ton and smashed 22 towering sixes, leaving everyone spellbound by his sheer talent. Not only did Meraj showcase his prowess with the bat but also proved to be a valuable asset for his team as a bowler taking 4 wickets while maintaining an admirable economy rate of 7.64. Furthermore, he displayed exceptional fielding skills snatching up 6 catches throughout the competition, solidifying his position as one of most well-rounded players in this year's event. As recognition for his outstanding performance all across the board during the tournament , Meraj was presented with a prestigious Gray-Nicolls bat from Sports Legacy - truly embodying what it means to achieve pure athletic excellence. After a series of grueling matches, Kryptonites Sporting Club emerged as the champions of their competition, with Showybul Islam Shakib leading from the front and backed by his talented teammates. The Greenacre Goats, a team that had been on a winning streak throughout the tournament, met their match in the final against the powerful Kryptonites Sporting Club. Although they were defeated, they still emerged as runners-up and Shezan Sakib, the brains behind the operation, received the SBCT runner-up award from none other than Pushkin Rahman. In a thrilling competition, the Sydney Ignite Club secured third place in the tournament. Afm Maruf, the captain of SIC, did an outstanding job leading his team to this impressive achievement. Congratulations 🎩

The Dashing Tigers, one of eight teams participating in the tournament, secured an impressive fourth position and received a small token of appreciation from SBCT.
