We’ve been quiet for a while, but the mahi behind our kaupapa hasn’t stopped.

After careful consideration and taking important requests into account, 2026 Te Herenga Waka Tournament won’t go ahead as planned. Thank you to all that had registered. All registered individuals and teams were emailed late last year. It’s not forever we will be back, stronger and in due course.

There’s plenty of mahi happening behind the scenes, and we’re excited to welcome new whānau to our teams and kaupapa.

Our kaupapa keeps growing, and we’re so glad you’re here with us.

This kaupapa is purely about inviting and creating opportunities for our Rangatahi. Bringing them together here in Sydney, Australia to be part of something meaningful.

Got a team? Perfect. Coming solo? We’ll do our best to make it work.

’s vision is to support our Rangatahi, create opportunities, and make meke memories. This is our first, and no matter how many teams show up, this kaupapa will only grow from here.
