1. “Who you surround yourself with will shape your entire life.” 👯
You don’t realise it at the time, but your standards, habits, and even your decision-making are influenced by your environment.
2. “Avoiding problems only makes them more expensive.” 💰
Small issues don’t stay small.
Whether it’s money, relationships, or responsibilities—what you ignore now usually comes back harder, messier, and more costly later.
3. “Not everyone thinks like you and that’s where most issues start.” 🧠
You assume people have the same intentions, logic, or fairness as you.
They don’t.
A lot of conflict comes from expectations that were never realistic in the first place.
4. “Discipline will take you further than motivation ever will.” 🥷🏻
Motivation comes and goes.
Discipline is what carries you when you’re tired, stressed, or don’t feel like it.
That’s true in training, work, and life.
5. “Most people don’t plan… and then blame the outcome.” 📝
People drift into situations and then act surprised when things go wrong.
Very few people think ahead about money, contracts, or even basic decisions and it shows in the results.
6. “Protect your time like it’s your most valuable asset.” ⏰
Time is the one thing you don’t get back.
You see how much of it gets wasted on the wrong people, pointless arguments, and avoidable situations.
7. “Peace is more valuable than being right.” ☮️
Not every situation needs to be won.
Sometimes the smartest move is stepping away early instead of dragging things out just to prove a point.

week 11/16
Last week I was in the middle of a 5-day court hearing.
Early runs before court, long days in hearings, and preparing for the next day late at night. But it all cut short in just 2 days.
Tracking my metrics with showed something interesting:
the mental load of work still creates physical strain on the body. Then came gut issues on Thursday that I had to deal with.
Recovery and sleep became the most important metrics later that week.
Performance isn’t just about the workouts you do it’s about how well you recover when life gets busy.
Simple as that
