LITHGOW ROUND 2 – A Weekend of Ups and Downs
After a strong testing day on Saturday, we came out firing on Sunday!
Qualified 2nd in the pouring rain with a blistering 44.29s lap – starting the day on a high!
• Round 1: Started P2 → Dropped to last on the first corner → Fought back to finish P2… and set the fastest lap on track! 🔥
• Round 2: Started P2 → Finished P3 on a tricky intermediate track.
• Pre-Final: Started P1 → Absolute disaster – kart wouldn’t start due to mechanical issues. 💔
• Final: Started last (after not contesting the Pre-Final) → Charged through the field to finish 4th on our spare practice motor!
Huge lesson in resilience: pick yourself up, forget the last race, and focus on the next one.

FROM ROOKIES TO JUNIORS in only seven months, and Nixon’s already claimed FOUR podiums and leveled up to Junior class! 🏎️🔥
