We’re often asked, “Why can’t you fit just one or two more cats?”

The reality is that adult cat adoptions can be challenging. Many of the cats pictured are not social, while others have lifelong medical conditions that require ongoing care. We currently have a high number of cats in our care waiting for adoption — and sadly, some of these cats may never be suitable for adoption.

These long-term residents still deserve a safe place, nutritious food, medical care and, most importantly, to know they are loved. ❤️

That’s why we are searching for weekly sponsors for some of our long-term cats.

For just $30 per week, you can help provide nutritious food for one cat and make a real difference to their quality of life. 🐱❤️

🚨❤️ Our intake is currently paused. ❤️🚨

Right now, we need to focus on getting on top of our outstanding vet bills so that we can continue helping animals in urgent need.

We currently have one beautiful boy in care, Ronnie, who desperately needs a CT scan to locate a retained testicle. Unfortunately, despite multiple ultrasounds, specialist consultations and exploratory abdominal surgery, we have still been unable to locate it.

For Ronnie to have the happy, healthy and long life he deserves, we need to find and remove the retained testicle. The CT scan and additional treatment are expected to cost around $3,000 — an unexpected expense that we now need to raise.

Every $5, $10 or $20 donated helps us chip away at our outstanding vet bills. By helping us get these bills under control, you are also helping us get back to a position where we can reopen our intake and continue saying yes to animals who urgently need our help.

😻🐾 VET BILL ASSISTANCE REQUIRED 🐾😻

Our vet bills are continuing to climb, and with so many animals currently requiring veterinary care, we desperately need your support. ❤️

We have many procedures booked this week, while also trying to pay off our current outstanding vet bill of $1,527. And unfortunately, this is just the amount owing at ONE of our vets.

With the amount of veterinary care currently required for the animals in our care, our funds are extremely limited, which means we are finding it increasingly difficult to help any more animals in need.
