Ola!!! An extreeeemely long time between posts. Sorry bout that. Truth is, I haven't been doing a great deal in the composites world in the last year or so, except for MTB frame repairs, like the one pictured. Super keen to get back into some carbon dark art. Hopefully soon, with the boys getting to skating age, I may even turn out some decks.🤞

Repairing various carbon goodies in the last few years has taught me that sometimes high price tags do not guarantee high quality. This was NOT the case with this carbon nippers board I have just finished repairing. The nose had been driven into a rock in the surf and fractured. As a result we had to grind out the damaged carbon and replace it. This is where you find out how well a part is really made. These things are made well!

I can’t believe it’s been a year since left on her massive overseas adventure and took along a zäbel backpacker board with her. Over Christmas, Peter from and his awesome family went to catch up with Em and he managed to take some shots of Em with her board for me. Glad you’re enjoying your time over there, Em. And glad the board is sharing in the fun with you!!!

Hey guys!!!! Sorry it’s been so stupidly long between posts, but it’s been hectic in all aspects of life. Recently, I decided to cut back on a lot of jobs zäbel was taking on, and concentrate on stuff that fuels my inspiration. These are some of the projects I’ve been working on over the last few months. A lot of classic/ race car stuff.

So I have some stuff here I’m looking to get gone. First off is this one off skate deck, and foam core construction, light, stiff and looks hot! Use it or hand it up. Selling it for the cost of materials plus 10%. If anybody wants it, DM me.

Finally got around to making the door card pocket/ cup holder for Mabel, our shop truck. It fits perfect, and looks sweet with the custom door card. A can holder is the biggest thing I’ve been missing in Mabel. The door card, as well as the pocket, is pretty much universal for any old car. Hit me up if you’re interested in one or the other, or both.
