A Message From Jordan & Caitlin ❤️

Hey everyone, Jordan and Caitlin here.

We said recently that when the time was appropriate, we would fill everyone in regarding a few things — particularly why results have been slower to post and why some of our GTDs have been put on hold.

Behind closed doors, our family has been dealing with something absolutely shattering. Someone very close to us has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer, and as you can imagine, it has completely shifted our priorities.

For a little while, our main focus has had to move away from running our small poker business and towards being there for our family and looking after ourselves. We’re sorry if things haven’t been as consistent as they normally are, and we genuinely appreciate everyone who has shown us patience and understanding.

Moving Forward ♠️

We’re looking forward to resetting with a fresh weekly schedule and continuing to provide plenty of variety for poker players across our area.

We know everyone has choices when it comes to where they play poker — and that’s a good thing. Our goal isn’t to offer exactly the same thing as everyone else. We want to provide different formats, different price points, affordable options, bigger games and specialty events so there is hopefully something for everyone.

We’d also like to respectfully address something that occasionally comes up regarding our admin fees.

All In Poker & Entertainment is a small, family-run business. The admin collected from our events helps cover the costs of operating the games, along with things we put directly back into our poker community including guaranteed prize pools, overlays, free-entry promotions, jackpots and other added-value promotions.

It isn’t about “double dipping.”

Over the approximately 19 months we’ve been on this journey, there have been plenty of weeks where what we’ve added back through guarantees, overlays and promotions has meant there has been little — or sometimes nothing — left from those admin fees.

We’re incredibly proud of the value we’ve been able to offer our venues and players, and we’re always looking at ways we can continue improving.

Charity Week ❤️

Lastly, our annual Charity Week will be returning in November, although this year we want to do something a little bigger.

Because of what our family is currently going through, we’re aiming to run two weeks of charity events.

Week 1 will raise money in honour of our family member, with proceeds going towards a charity that is especially meaningful to our family.

Week 2 will support a charity chosen by our poker community.
