✨Weekly Intention Text is Back✨

A little while ago, I stopped sending my weekly intention texts.

Not because I didn’t love them, but because I needed some time to realign how I wanted to connect with and support my community.

Reflecting on what feels sustainable and my community, I kept coming back to the fact I don’t want to create more things on everyone’s to do list, because sometimes reading a text can be overwhelming.

It’s not about needing more information, it’s about needing a reminder that your own needs are a priority too.

So from this week, my Weekly Intention Text is returning for my regular yoga students—both online and in-person.

Each week, you’ll receive a short intention, reflection, or supportive reminder to help you begin the week feeling a little more grounded.

Less overwhelm and to do list vibes and more connection and friendly support from me.

This will be sent either on Sunday or Monday, because life sometimes gets in the way and I will be connecting with you eventually. Also because toddler Mum life IYKYK.

I’m looking forward to sharing them with you again. Much love to my community.

💙🦋BLUE FULL MOON 🦋💙

Full moons are know for time to reflect, release and let go.

Usually this is things like bad habits, negative thoughts about yourself, things that aren’t aligned and even ideas that aren’t serving you.

Can I release and let go of these germs that have taken my voice ? 🦠🦠🦠

Definitely heading to the chemist tomorrow to get some vitamins and start taking better care of myself. It’s time to start prioritising my health and my body. I’ve been the worse for putting myself last and this has definitely been amplified becoming a Mum.

🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️ STRESS 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️

About 8 weeks ago, my little family went through a really stressful time. It required me to be the strong one, the one who had it together and the one who was being the glue for the family.

Now I’m learning that sometimes the impact of stress doesn’t hit while you’re in the stressful season. Which at the time I recognised, I knew I was being strong, after lots of “how are you doings?” from friends and I felt empty. I knew I was just shoving those feelings aside because I had to. The alternative was falling in a heap.

I’ve learnt that my body feels safe to stop pushing now and it’s responding.

It’s responding with headaches, exhaustion, tight shoulders, tight jaw, poor sleep, overwhelm and tears over perceived tiny things.

Stress lives in the body for far longer than we realise. I’ve spent a fair portion surviving, coping, caregiving and over functioning. Now it’s time to slow down and focus on my body again. This week I’ve started 75 soft and I’ve started prioritising my body again - Chiro is booked.

This is one of the reasons I care so deeply about practices like yoga, breathwork, rest, gentle movement, meditation, and slowing down. Not because these practices erase stress but because it helps refocus and help us notice.

As someone who finds disconnecting so easy as a form of protection, I’ve learnt that learning to listen to your body is so important for overall health and wellbeing.

DAY 1 / 75

This is Day 1 / 75 soft
A time to reconnect.
A time to find purpose.
A time to be the best version of me.
A time to build consistency, balance and habits that fit in and around my life. This is a much more sustainable approach for me and where I’m at.

I’m doing this with a group of Mums who want to build better habits for themselves and their families. So happy to share my journey with you.

Here’s a re-introduction - Hey, I’m Jas. Mum of 1, wife, fur mum, book lover and stationary addict - yeah this will never change. Do I need that new notepad, no. Will I buy it, yes. 🙋‍♀️

I found a love of Yoga and the yogi way of living in 2017 when I went looking for flexibility and found a way to be calmer in my body and mind. Sssshhhh Anxiety!
