Peter brings a wealth of knowledge to the club and we look forward to seeing him in action next year,

2026 marks the 115th anniversary of the West Maitland Rugby League Football Club.
To celebrate this milestone we will be hosting an event on Saturday 5th December.

Well here's the final team list for 2026. What a year it's been! With plenty of ups and downs, being united at the end is all that matters!
It's Indigenous round tomorrow and we're celebrating Father's Day early! So come on down to The Rock and be apart of this awesome day with us!

50 gold stars to the first 2 boys that come to the sheds for an hour and help clean the place down for an hour before tomorrow 😁

This jersey is more than the colours we wear on game day. It tells the story of who we are, where we've come from, and the people who walk beside us every step of the way.

The meeting circles represent our families, our community, and the places where stories are shared and memories are made. They remind us that every player is supported by a village of people who believe in them.

The journey lines show the paths we've all travelled. Some have been easy, others have tested us, but every path has led us here. Together, those journeys become one.

The footprints honour those who came before us—our Elders, our ancestors, and the past players who helped build this club. Their strength and guidance continue to inspire us, and we hope to leave our own footprints for the next generation.

The bright sun reminds us that every new day brings another chance to grow, to learn, and to make our families and community proud. No matter the result, we play with heart, respect, and courage.

The red earth reflects our connection to Country. It reminds us to stay grounded, to respect where we come from, and to never forget the culture that continues to shape us.

Across the chest, the paths come together as one, symbolising that while we all have different stories, once we pull on this jersey, we stand as one team, one family, and one community.

Every time this jersey is worn, we carry more than our own dreams. We carry the pride of those who came before us, the support of those standing beside us, and the hopes of those who will follow.
