Liezel has just completed her final qualifying pass, Round 1 of racing will be Saturday Morning.

Stephan will have his final 2 qualifying passes later today.

Not a cloud in the sky as the track rubbers up on day 1, there is a slight headwind today.

Liezel - junior dragster
8.111 @ 79.42mph

Stephan - Modified
7.27 - first full pass in over 8 months.

Q2 for Liezel will be later today with Modified back on track for Q2 at 11.45am tomorrow.

Day 1 of the Winternationals has arrived! The crew is defrosting and todays action kicks of at 12pm.

Liezel in the SCG racing parts JNR dragster will have 2 qualifying sessions. After a couple of test runs last weeked, the car is ready to go and there is a huge 50 cars entered for this weekend.

The Simpson race parts modified is back after 8 months with Stephan behind the wheel. A few gremlins after the first pass at the warm ups last weekend and the team was busy to get the car ready for today!

Good luck to all racers over the weekend and if you cant make it out, Kayo will have a livestream from tomorrow.

After Q1 last night, Liezel is currently #1 qualifier 👏🏼
We have 2 more shots at the track this morning to hopefully run another 8.00 then eliminations from 3:30pm!

Testing before the 400 Thunder Super Thunder and we are over the moon! 👏🏼
The junior is spot on tonight running a 7.999 and a 8.000. We are certainly keen and excited to hit the track tomorrow to replicate these numbers for qualifying and racing 🏆🏎

Our team is ready ti travel to Sydney this weekend. Stephan and Liezel has a bit of work to do at this meeting but, we are super excited to be able to go to National Even 🙌🏻
