The Clubs latest trip saw quite a number of members travel to Lake Moogerah Caravan Park to fish for the Skeeta Ryan Memorial Trophy.
Conditions were as expected with chilly nights and mornings, however conditions on the water were near to perfect.
The fish were not so friendly with 18 fish measured in for the weekend. A number of undersized fish were released.
Quite a number of the fish were caught on Tomcat Lures. These are available through Fish 'N' Bits - Marine, Bait & Tackle . Longest fish for the weekend was a 49cm yella by Stephen Tomlinson .
Congrats to all that attended.

Recently the Club members travelled to the Maroochy River for the 2nd round of the June Dory Award.

Fishing proved a little tough with not a lot of fished measured in. Conditions werent too bad however rain on Saturday night made the decision easy not to go out on Sunday.

Lennies Birthday was celebrated with a cake. Congrats goes to Danni Tooth for the longest flathead for the trip measuring 62cm.

Also Ian Deacon with the smallest🤦‍♂️ flathead in history actually hooked.

The month of June signals the first trip for the "June Dory" Award for the Longest fish caught in June.

8 members travelled to Jumpinpin Bar and camped at Tipplers.
All members caught fish from Whiting, Squire, Bream, Tailor and Flathead.

Tony Jannusch landed a nice 57cm flattie only to be pipped by Graham Dickinson catching a 58 cm.

Conditions were cold but the daytime temps were ok. Nothing like a good fire on a winters night.

Members travelled to Torbul for the first Salt trip of the Season. Fish didn't play the game so much and a few showers were about. Otherwise a good trip was had.
Check out the solid flatty caught and safely released by Keith Fittkau

Next trip is Jumpinpin 06/06.
